Dogs and Cats slaughtered in China

Do you eat, Cows, sheep, chicken or anything like that? im guessing you probably dont, its well known that the Chinese and others will eat anything with legs and a pulse, i was in chinatown in my city last night, i was eating chicken curry and other stuff, at least i think thats what it was, i understand people being freaked out by this being done to dogs, but in the country i live in its perfectly acceptable to do it to lambs etc for comsuming, why some people think that one animal is fine and another is not is crazy, i am a meat eater, but ive spoken to family and friends many times and said "isnt it weird how we actually eay body parts and muscle of animals" and they reply its normal though, but i think to myself is it really? like the fact that we drink cows milk, its like were breast fed by cows for the rest of our lives, funny how its legal to eat animal liver, yet if we attepted to eat a human liver we would be in serious trouble and called a freak, im not an animal lover or a veggie or anything, but i can totally see the savage side of many of us, we kill and consume what the hell we like without any consideration, i always disagree with this idea that were at the top of the chain, everything is below us and all that crap, were no more entitled to anything.

I?m not a vegetarian. I eat beef, chicken, lamb, fish. About the Chinese?Once I popped into a Chinese grocery store to get some soy milk?.a combined smell of rotten meat and vegetables, and flies?.EVERYWHER. Nevertheless to say, I got out from that store on the next second. I can go on, but I prefer not saying anything else. I did have a few bad experiences.

Anyway, posting that link was to let people see the HORRIBLE WAY in which those poor animals are killed. It?s bad enough that they are taking their life. But what it really pisses me off is why do they have to prolong their suffering? Why don?t they do it quickly?!? I?m an animal lover. I?m aware about the fact that many people don?t like them. And I respect that. I just don?t? agree with torturing those souls.

Where i live there are large Pakistan/Indian communities and everything else in between, the muslims as im sure you will know consume Halal meat, and the only difference being the way that it is slaughtered as far as i know.
I spoke with a muslim work friend and he told me how its done, the fact that the animal is cut and left to bleed to death so that the majority of the blood escapes the meat, he said its cleaner and everything, although our slaughter houses are still to an extent barbaric, the thought of an animal bleeding slowly to death seems to add an uneasy feeling to it.
