Is it possible to tell a guys' zodiac sign when one meets them?
Any signs?

Yeh, enlighten me on this one.

i can usually spot cancers, geminies and scorpios because i've been dealing with a lot of people of these signs.Cancers are the easiest to spot, i can "feel" them, usually by just looking into their eyes.I'm a scorpio myself so maybe that's why.

Yep - I'm very playful so I can spot Fire or Air signs - they run away with my bad jokes.
As for the particular signs, it's in the eyes...

Aqua and Aries guys similar - with loads of ego/pride but in different ways. Aqua will try to help you a lot in a generic detached way and look at you funny, like you're a lab-rat they're dissecting...Aries will feel more arrogant and forceful.
Sag and Gem are similar but sags put their foot in their mouths and geminis are more selective with what they say - they are both non-committal in their responses.
Libra's similar to Gemini but have more flirty side with dimples (mostly) and avoid trouble.
Leo sometimes seem like cappy with the pride level but more playful as long as you know who's boss 🙂

I know can't tell if it's earth or water - there's a seriousness my sixth sense just picks up and I clam up 😕
I can't spend too much time in this instance except for work stuff 😢

The rising sign may be deceptive but I can only tell by asking a few questions and from the responses

Depends on the questions you ask and how long the 'meeting' lasts.
But if you're paying enough attention, and ask the right questions... it can be done.
The more you practice, the better you will get with it.
The ones that come the easiest to me are the fishes (they give off a strange [not saying its a positive or negative] vibe that sets off my 'spidey-sense'), and the twins (its easy to figure out their sign... but trying to understand any more than that is like opening and slamming all the doors in your mind over and over and over and over again... simultaneously).

I met this boy randomly because one of my friends decided to go up to him and ask how much his board was, he didnt seem to theartened with the questions, had a good sense of humor. He didn't brag about how much the board was, took it lightly which leads me to believe that he probably isnt a libra.
He was laid back, his shirt was wrinkled which leads me to think that he could be a sag, he liked to talk, said I was sarcastic and kept pointing it out.
Inquired what we were doing in school so late, if we lived on campus, if he could join our study group, which leads me to think that he COULD be a cancer (cause he kinda reminded me of me, but then again I have an Aqua moon and a Sag rising).
COULD be a leo, was somewhat cocky, could be an Aqua.
I gave my number, and he said he would join us later but an hour later texted and EXPLAINED that he had forgotten he had to play a sport with his friends and he would text during the week to study. Dunno what that falls under.
Reason I ask is because more and more I have been fascinated with what people could be potentially be and ever since I found out one of my guy friends that I had only barely met was very hostile was a scorpio,and that shocked me to see he was so...generic?
But either way, sorry it was so long but when I find someone who intrigues me I usually research them so to speak, please help!

If not, you're probably right about the AQU.
But you're young (19)... so, some good advice:
-you should move away from the line of thinking that
"more and more I have been fascinated with what people could be potentially be"
This will hurt you often when people (who most of the time nowadays) don't show their true self. You will end up getting involved with people with 'EXPECTATIONS' that they will be one way (good), and find out after making a commitment that they are exactly the opposite (bad).
And when it hurts like that (especially for a crab)... it scars.

brokensh, that's good advice, unfortunately not one a lot of females heed to... so many people in relationships based on expectations
I think it's kinda vicious circle like, we create image for people to accept us based on what expectations they have of us , then forget who we are and forget relationships are where you're supposed to let all guards down... by the time we remember, it's too late, relationships break due to people changing but they've been like that from day one 😢

I can usually spot a Leo and a Scorp at a first glance. the Leo's arrogance is so damn obvious, hard to miss and attracts me instantly. and the sexiness just radiates of scorps... mixed with their mystery.. ya i can spot em' right away.

lol How and the hell can u tell if he or she is a cancer, leo, gemini etc.... So signs comes out u indirectly and u wanted even kow. That is ridiculous.

I get Leo a lot... I'm a cancer tho. Maybe it's my rising in sag? That or my mom is lying to me and I was really born on Aug or a cusp........ Buuuut noope! I'm to emotionally hidden. I can't tell by sun sign. But by rising... That's a different story. Tho I will never know! Too much trouble to ask. The sun sign is more powerful then the rising. The rising is just our outer image. It's what we like people to see in our first impression until we feel comfortable with you or just bored as hell with you. So eventually you will know once you really get to know someone. ?Or will you ever? hm.hm muu.ha.ha.haa!

Hm, in regards to that (my twenty two cents 😄)
I have gotten confused for a scorpio and an aquarius...go figure.
And I'm told plenty I have no emotions (and trust me, they arent hidden haha).

And dogsbody, I've never been able to have fun with a scorp, they have all scared me off with their million phone calls 😢

Yeh, Scorpions are scary, I had one nearly stalk me (some online guy), I was really scared at the time. But I cut off all contact all together-ofcourse I told him so before doing so and I told him the reasons too. He apologized God knows how many times but at the time I just didn't want to hear from him, just wanted him to stop being all stalkerish. Looking back I wonder what if I hadn't done that....hmmm....funny thing is, I was in his city a few weeks ago for some business and at one point wondered "what if I run into him all of a sudden":o That would have been scary and ackward, LOL.
