Just figure I'd give you a thread where you don't have to explain the actions of each other or use your psychic powers to mind read other cancers and explain why the do X or don't do Y.

So to start things off, how' the weather where you guys are? Having to resort to raining day hobbies to keep yourselves entertained? If so, what are they?

It's been raining lately where I live and yes, I've used it to brush up on my reading and occasionally writing.

Also, since you guys get called cooking gods/goddesses what recipe tricks do you have to turn originally biscuits into something that will make people drop marriage proposals on you in a snap? I haven't been adventurous in it myself, I just had simple old biscuits with honey and biscuits with jelly under my belt. Thank goodness I'm a Cap and everyone tries to keep in an office somewhere in corporate land, otherwise I'd probs get judged to hell and back for having such a meager biscuit recipe repotour.

I do like cooking, but not the usual everyday stuff. I look something up on internet ( mostly desserts) or in a cooking book and try it out.
Its hard to cook for a cap though.....cus off the very high standards....

Its raining here too...i do long for the summer!
*Winces* Hopefully they appreciate the extra effort made on behalf of their taste buds.

Planning to go to summer parties and events?

Hm, if he appreciates? Don't know, he doesn't say it. And usealy that means " its not reached his standards" lol
But if i like it , than that's ok

I like to dance, but he isn't a dancer. We do have lots of mutual friends and usealy we take our speedboat together with a group of friends. Take lots of alcohol and food with us, and together with good music on the background , the sun in our faces, the bikini's on having lots of fun !
We usualy go take a drink on thursday's and friday evening with a group of friends to start the weekend. But we come home in the early evening since we both are "home buddies". In the weekend , we usualy go to the rally. His stepson rides rally in a ford cosworth 4x4 and he is the mecanic. It fun to go allong with when the sun is shining.

But even if we don't go anywere. We always have things to do at home and are never bored.

And you? What will you do in the summer? Any plans?

Oh nice, sounds like it'd be blast to vacation there around the time of that rally.
What type of drinks do you all usually have?

As for my plans, hopefully I'll have time to kick start a youtube channel.
Naturally, I'll be getting more writing done as well. Perhaps I'll pencil in some events happening around my way if any seem promising.

The weather has been perfect here, by my standards. Sun and clouds and easy low 70's temps.
Sorry not sorry for the hellish weather I sent to Texas. Southerners need to stop pissing me off. 😛

I've been doing a bit of gardening, both veggie patch and yard, plus the usual work/play/kids/pets routine.

As for biscuits, I make a shortbread biscuit and sweeten it us with sugar and vanilla for strawberry shortcake. Or add cheddar and fresh chives, or garlic and rosemary, or lavender and lemon zest, etc. depending on what I'm serving them with. The sky is the limit with flavor combos and additions. I don't really use recipes, I go by sight and feel and taste (much to the frustration of people wanting recipes from me).
Good to hear!
...oh, CRAPPOLA! Cowpuncher lives in the south! Oh well he's a Cap, he'll be fine.

Oh snap, what are you growing in the garden? I actually have the chance to try growing something in my new front yard.
You make them have foodgasms and then keep the recipe unwraps. Evil. I approve.

Yeah, that would be a CC punishment. I think cowpuncher would be happy if it rained women, any women. lol

I have grown sunflowers. I might do it this year, too. I let the birds eat them.

oooooooooooOOOOOOoo! I have a recipe that is easy and savoury!!!
So its a bit like the same rules of French toast.. with the bread and the egg whisking and whatnot. but instead add salt, Italian herbs, and minced garlic to your eggs. And when still in the pan sprinkle some cheese on top so it melts on to the bread, and the voila. SO DELICIOUS.
I may have to save that one for marriage. Goodness grief does it sound good! Thanks!

I am dealing with this cancer guy and all i will say is that too much emotional drama. They are always confused and they want to keep everybody happy which is very irritating because practically its not possible.
Ouch. It's hard to learn/accept that you can't please everyone. When did you learn this lesson? Hopefully he'll get the message soon.

Yeah i hope he does. The problem is cancer people are usually the most loved and adored sun signs because they are cute, family type and they believe in strong friendships. So for them everybody whom he loves or is close to should also be close to each other and everybody else. For example if he loves his friend and i like the cancer guy so i should like his friend too. So if there is a situation where he has to choose me or the friend he will just back off. His mind will just freeze and he will whine. So either the friend or me one of us will have to compromise. And then he will be safe and he will think awesome now both are happy. Thats his way to handle things.

Oh grief no that the whole, "I love both so I did X so that you didn't think he was picking sides" thing.
Patience and compassion is required. I lacked it when faced with a similar situation. Best of luck. I'm sure he has qualities that make up for this, right?

You need a lot of patience with the Cancers. You need to deal with their past, their daily crying but at the end they somehow are so cute and adorable you will feel that they need you so automatically you will care for them/ compromise and so on. Trap trap full trap.
Do you enjoy being trapped though?

I am a scorpio i like how i have to chase him. They are tough ones to be with initially. Cancers become too close to you. They won't seem like strangers or somebody whom you can detach so soon. They will hold on to you someway or the other just to keep you. So if any other sign men i would have just walked off but cancers are sensitive even though they are selfish or whatever you can't just walk off.

Super easy: put them in the ground and let them grow. They can get 6 ft tall so put them against a fence or someplace where height isn't an issue.

I'd attribute the daily crying to some other sign in the chart because I rarely cry daily, not unless something really upsetting recently happened, and it's rare for anyone to see me cry, I have to have full trust or close to it before someone gets to see me cry. Being close to someone is easy, though, because reading them is usually very easy, and that means knowing/understanding someone more than they've ever felt understood (the down side is Cancers want to be understood this way and few are able to deeply understand/accept).

Daily crying i meant cancers have too many things going on in their mind. They need to enjoy the present.
