You two made up?

Is she shorter than you? Off topic I know.

Or the dark haired version of you?
Does she have to be in school to stay with her parents?

I would advise against trying to convince her to move out.
Do not make a financial commitment with someone who might change their mind and move out in a month or two.
If she is still a student, then she might not be able to afford to pay rent.
Consider this from a practical perspective.

I don't think she will go for it.
If she does, she will turn around and go back home.

She may be your bff but you two have minor misunderstandings of one another than can really blow up under the same roof.
Its not easy finding a crab who can tolerate too much drama at home without showing a different side of their shell.

Motivating her to move out might be the best thing ever to happen for the CANCER. We're too slow at times.

you sound like someone i used to know. Shes saying no because she doesnt want to. Its all about u it seems. Were u bitching about her in another thread how she was making new friends and always talking about them or to them and u didnt like it? I wouldnt be suprised if she gets her own place without a roommate. We dont like other ppls bs, especially in our living space. You kinda come off as demanding

Be careful, living together has been known to ruin lifelong friendships. Not saying it'll happen to u, but it's always a risk. You never really know someone until you've lived with them.
Are you both neat freaks? Same sleep schedule? Both employed? Able to request personal space when needed? (And trust me, you'll need it!)
Things like that can make successful cohabitation more likely.

Why should she ?
she doesn't pay the rent.
she doesn't have to cook nor pay for food.
it allows her to save some money ...we never know what the future holds for us.
In Europe it's okay to live at your parents when you're still at university. We do everything later than american kids : we get our driving license later (age 19) , our own appartment later, a "real" job later...

Things are more expensive in Europe tho. Unless you live in NYC, Boston or LA/SF, you can get your own 1br apt for under $ 1000 USD a month! Something equivalent in France or Germany would probably be at least 2-3x more expensive.click to expand
