How often do you

Second guess yourself? I read a ton of Astro stuff that says when a cancer has a gut feeling it is usually right and so on. But I almost never go with it because it seems wrong?, im unsure so I never go with my gut. Does this describe you? Or is this an age thing?

It could be something as simple as I think to myself "I should probably walk that way" and end up walking the way I was already walking only to discover that there's a fence like 1km up the road and then thinking "crap I knew I should have walked the other way!"

lol it's our curse I believe!

I've never made a big mistake following my gut! But I've made plenty going against it. With time I've learned to trust it. I think on top of it and I try to rationalize it, but I try to respect it. It rarely lets me wrong, but sometimes it's hard. Like all logic says the other way is the best but your gut doesn't believe in it!! As long as my vision isn't clouded with infatuation, my gut is also very accurate with people.

That's how my gut is with people then I try to prove my gut wrong about them but never works! I hope me and my gut can learn to cooperate!

My intuition, my gut, is usually right, but I still give people the benefit of the doubt. Because when/if things go bad, I dont want the only proof I have to be "i had a gut feeling"

When making a decision the mind tends to follow this (basicly put) order.

Instinct ﹥Risk/Preservation Assessment﹥Emotion﹥Consciousness﹥Probability﹥Intuition﹥Logic ﹥Reason

You don't get a say in the first two, generally not the 3rd either initially, and all of is decided before we're even aware of it. Then once we become conscious of it our mind calculates probability for things like value/loss/etc to direct our Intuition 'gut feeling'.

So... your mind has already gone through 5 steps on the list before you ended up with that gut feeling. There's no harm in checking with No. 7 and No. 8; however, training/understanding your intuition is also important.

True. I saw a study sometime ago where people had to draw cards from two decks. One deck was more consistently right than the other. Each person took an average of 20 or 30 persons to understand which deck was correct. However, 5 seconds after starting to draw each person hand was sweating more when taking a card from the faulty deck! The unconscious brain was far quicker reading the pattern!

@carrazeda she is right... I have a terrible discernment....i trust people I shouldnt... I don't trust people I should.... It's like all my water bits are broken...

But I do trust whorpio way more than she thinks... I still tell her stuff I don't tell people in my everyday life and when I have made a mistake I want her opinion on it...

That's your gut feeling working then!!! Just listen to it. I don't even think it's just a crab thing. If you're sensible enough to understand the people around you and yourself then more often you'll know what's the best for you. Because in the end of the day that's what the gut feeling is. Nothing magic or psychic, but to know what works with you.

Yep I used to go with my intuition when I was a kid. Then my logical Capricorn father told me to go with logic. I'm impulsive as well so I'd go with what was expected plus I'd move fast.

I saw a clairvoyant healer and she told me I ignore my intuition and told me to remember every time I went against it and asked me if my intuition was right. I was always right.

She also said the more I go with my intuition, the more my psychic abilities develop. She was right.

Always trust your gut. I do. No second guessing in that department. Other things I may think about the best solution but when the guts involved no second guessing!
