Oh for heaven's sake, let me make sure I understand this correctly....
So this guy loses his Dad and you are so selfish to worry if you guys will be okay? Someone died, someone lost a father, someone lost a husband and you worry if you will be okay?
You must have never lost a loved one, otherwise you'd know not to even ask. Not to even go there.
You need to just back off.
By the way? Not everyone wants people around after they lose their parent. No friends, no family. Some people just want to be alone. You need to understand and respect this.
If you don't? You'll lose him for sure.

I had a similar situation happen with a guy I dated in my teens. I asked the same questions you asked and basically handled it badly. I still feel kinda bad to this day for being so selfish and immature. Just back off. Shit like that changes ppl.

Mine is similar to urs. He said Take a break on us after he had a car accident. I used to be confused like u now coz i dont know if its a break or completely over bw us.
He stated he needed time to recover himself after that accident.
The last time we txted each other was in the beginning of April. After that day til now,,,we r not in contact. He disappeared!!!!.
Its time for ur man to retreat himself. M not so sure if its over or just a break as he said to u. We cant tell anything.
Back off for a month n see wat will happen. If nothing happens, then u have to move on. No choice, m sorry.
