Inside the cancerian mind (confused)

What can there be a lot of confusion between cancerians. And I am
only talking about a "work relationship", no real relationship. (although I liked her(because she WAS so sweet to me) without often talking to her)

I am thinking: If she knew what I was thinking she'd understand. Maybe she is
thinking the same, or (unfortunately more likely) thinks I am sometimes/often unfriendly.

Anyway she left today (for another job) and reacted strangely to (finally) a compliment of mine. Why?

Maybe some extra information. She is 23 (four years younger), very good looking,
has a boyfriend, popular, assertive (aries moon, gemini/cancer cusp; cancer side)

Would this extra information change your answer....

i will say that cancer woman and very different than cancer men so it would probably be better that you get advice from a cancer woman on this board but i will say that we can feel you out and you mention one word that struck me which was "unfriendly". if you seem unfriendly to me i am not going to waste my time and energy on someone who isn't cool with me. so what i was saying was that you waited to long to show your interest and your sometimes unfriendly manner probably turned her off. she was being friendly with you cause that is how we are but for you to finally give her a compliment after a long time whe was probably thinking wtf?

Well, it was not really unfriendly, but more sometimes "not at ease" or "in control". Interesting that I was able to be friendly when I did my best, but my first reflex (when i didn't expect a conversation) was distant (couldn't help it), probably typical cancerian.

But she might have thought it was distant/unfriendly or rude.

But are there cancer women with an opinion about this..

@Syzygy: Yo are right. At least one of them should be the wise one
(and take things not personally). funny thing is that it's good I am becoming aware of my behaviour.

@unusualcancer: I agree, my frustration was, that I was not be
able to do that, if I had to react fast. (couldn't control my reflexes)
Besides, how to be nice to a girl in a working environment without making her unconfortable, while she knows that a lot men like her.

I saw you have the same sun-moon combination like here. Do others consider you powerful in some sense ?
