It's been about a month that I've been chatting to this Cancer Man online... we flirt with each other quite a bit, and I have asked him to go for a drink, and he has agreed but has been busy... So it hasn't happened yet, and I am wondering if I should wait for him to now ask me... the second time I mentioned meeting up he said, 'yes for sure as soon as I have the time and the balls to do it... lol'

I thought this was an interesting statement.... what do you suppose he's so afraid of?

Good for you... Cancers are great signs in the Zodiac... I would would say if you can see all of his chart say where Venus moon... and AC... maybe Mercury for communication...

That's strange...After a month he should meet up. If he doesn't have the balls then he shouldn't create this month long connection with you.

Be careful, he may be married or in a long term relationship or in a separation and trying to get his feet wet and/or living with someone. He may not be as available as he's made you believe.

Set a boundary around how long you're willing to communicate before meeting and stick to it. You do not want to set yourself up for failure by attaching yourself to a man that may not be available nor be who he say he is.

But for the most part, allow him to ask you out, he should ask you out at some point. You made the first move now the ball is in his court.

The excuse that he's busy is not good enough, it's not a valid excuse, if he has time to sit on his phone/computer to chat then he has time for a drink/date.

Give him a few more weeks and then consider putting him on the back burner then continue on to someone who wants a REAL life connection/relationship/date.

I worry about this Venus in Gemini... he must be friendly and may even have alot of female friends... The Scorpio moon is interesting as well... house would be nice on that one...

Scorpio Moons... are interesting creatures and really express their love though actually making love... Cancer Sun should make him openly show his affection for you... Mercury in cancer should make him talk to you lovely but also to the world in general...

Mars in Libra is not a bad placement...

But tell me how is he around girls that are around... because Venus in Gem can be interesting in these ways... if you are a jealous person watch out... He most likely is a little with his Scorpio moon even though he will not voice it to much or as much as he thinks about it...

So it's been a full month & he hasn't made any effort to see you at all? Or are you saying that you guys have hung out before but just haven't gone on the dates that you specifically asked him out on?

If he's too busy to meet up with you then I wonder why he's even on a dating site to begin with. Unless you signed up for pen pals, I see no reason for why he hasn't made the time to hang out with you yet...I'm saying this IF the case is that you 2 haven't even met yet.

Maybe he doesn't drink or maybe he's not comfortable drinking with you in particular. Some guys that don't drink that much may only associate drinking with close friends/family members.

If you've put yourself out there twice in a row, then cool, you've done your part. So just back off & let him come to you. His reasons for not going so far aren't gonna change if you ask him 5 more times lol Just let him come to you babe. And if he never asks you out then it's b/c he's not that into you

We didn't meet on a dating site... he added me to a social networking site because he noticed that we had several mutual friends... and we've been chatting back and forth ever since.

Well I hope he's not afraid of me... I am a Sag, so I'm sure you can appreciate this mis-match here lol which is why I'm asking for advice.

I would also like to add that the first few days of chatting were great! He asked me all kinds of questions about things that I liked, almost like a test lol and then the conversation just kinda went to hey, how's it going, every day. I don't contact him... he contacts me... but he has nothing to say, it's the weirdest thing lol

I just want to get off this electronic medium before I invest anymore time in this Cancer man...

I wanted to bump this thread and provide an update... and it's a positive one....

I tried to get together with said Cancer man once again, and a couple days later he sent me a very heartfelt reply... he basically said, 'look, I really do want to meet you, but I met someone around the time I started talking you online, and we're seeing each other regularly now....and I feel like I need to see where things go on my side, I hope you're not upset with me, and I'm sure we will still meet one day, but right now it seems inappropriate.'

I actually felt good about this response from him....I mean, it's not ideal, lol, but he was straight up with me, and I have a lot of respect for him now. I told him that's completely cool ,and I thanked him for his honesty... everything happens for a reason, right?

Thoughts? Typical Cancer move? Regardless I feel good about things now 🙂
