I've read and heard this sooooo many times.

Is it true?

That there's no such thing as too many hugs or kisses—

Parents, boyfriends/girlfriends etc., of crabs - they've all said it. That they can hug and kiss you guys all day long if they wanted and you never tire of it.

I think I even saw it with mine own two eyes - Crab dude cuddled with his girl literally all day at a wedding rehearsal. He hugged, he kissed, he caressed - wash, rinse, repeat!

That's so foreign to a Virgo like myself who can barely stand to shake a hand. 😛

For me it's really about being, getting or staying in tune with someone. I really like to vibe and zone out with my lady friend. Cuddling really helps to get close without over complicating things and thecontender likes to keep things real and simple. Thecontender likes to keep things real simple.

My cancer man is not like that, I wish he was. We don't snuggle that much. Usually if we go out or something with other couples we are the only couple that aren't all over each other.

Me and the cmf don't either....I think we would more but he's heard me say a million times through out the years that I'm not an affectionate person. I'll give him a hug when he leaves but that's about it. I honestly think he wishes I was more affectionate because on a couple of occasions he's kinda thrown a fit that I didn't hug him...but then has said "oh you and your hugs...I swear" LOL silly little crab 🙂

I love hugs and kisses. From family and s/o. Growing up that's what the rest of my family did. Run into a friend or family member you haven't seen in a while, you give them a hug. Now, if I'm with my s/o in public, I don't want to look like we are making out. My s/o has made the comment "I just gave you a kiss". I hate that. So what, I want another one. LOL If you are a complete stranger....you get a wave and a smile or maybe a handshake. LOL

The Pisces says I cut off his air supply, I squeeze him so tight. Sometimes I can't stop touching or standing close to him and I'm constantly cuddling kids around me. Other times, I'm an ice queen and you best not get too close. All depends. No kissing in public tho... it can quickly lead to inappropriate, lusty behavior that I can't put a cap on.

That's what's so interesting because you can get one from either side of the fence (and even some who straddle it). I know some girls who say that their CM are completely against PDA and are not as "cuddly" and "mushy" as the astrology textbooks would make you believe. Why don't you try initiating more affectionate moments. You can keep it subtle. Like a light touch on the cheek or a squeeze on the hand, or a peck on the lips.

See, we Virgals really do come in different flavors. Ha! Unlike you, I hate hugs and kisses (for the most part). The only person who EVER made me feel like I wanted to suck face and fondle all day long was a Cancer dude (I'll keep saying it until I die - damn dem dudes are like kryptonite!) My mom's a Scorp and growing up she was very affectionate with us (gotta love those stingettes!) but I could remember times throwing myself on the ground trying to get away from a kiss on the cheek! Oh! You're a Pisces/Cancer combo...but not the annoying type. LOL, you guys can squeeze the life outta someone that's for sure. It's all genuine though, and that's what I love. I can't stand phony people who don't know how to give a real hug (you know the type - they keep their torsos like 10 inches away from yours.) As I mentioned before, I'm not into hugs much but I do prefer them over kisses and I say if you're going to do it, do it right, damnit. I'm a bit too nervous to touch kids in the street but sometimes I just can't help myself because they're just so darn adorable. We were more sweet than inapproriate. He always had to touch me, hold my hand, etc. But I'm naturally an affectionate person. I'm a very huggy person with friends and family.

Also it could be due to the fact that I have Moon/Mars in Cancer. He has Moon in Pisces. :/

Hugging > Kissing (for me)

I don't like relatives kissing me on the cheek to greet me. That annoys me. Kissing is kind of "meh" for me. In a relationship, the other person is usually the one who wants to kiss me more. That being said, I would never be rude enough to make it obvious if I'm really not in the mood to kiss. I'll kiss just as passionately and make them happy. But I'd much rather hug them. 🙂

From all that you've shared of him here, I don't doubt he's the typical lovey-dovey type. I didn't think the younger ones would be as affectionate but I find them sometimes to be even moreso than the older ones.

Yes, "lady friend" is exactly the term my old FWB used to call his... FWB's.

I love affectionate displays, touching, etc, from a girl that I'm in a relationship with. There's no such thing as "too much" in those cases (though I'm the one who usually reciprocates rather than showering it on them first).

In every other case, lol no. Family, friends, acquaintances, I'm not that physically affectionate or touchy at all and would rather prefer them not to be on me =/

I think contender is using it in a more positive and respectful way to reference his woman, but, all of the men that I've heard use it were older gentlemen who had no intentions of settling down but just wanted to have fun (you know, the player type) and had more than one "lady friend".

I just went out of town for two weeks and got back a couple of days ago, yesterday was the first day we could spend together (with my cancer). We laid down in my bed (cuddling) and we both snoozed for about a half hour, then apparently he woke up and just laid there for about 3 hours while I slept. He told me he was happy just being able to hold me again 🙂

Yes, our first "dates" back when we were "friends" were comprised of 12 hour + plus cuddling sessions...

I could hug him for an eternity and apparently he feels the same. It's nice.

Hell's Kitchen is on now. Every Monday, Fox 5, 8pm. I haven't really been following 'cause I'm not impressed with the cast, and the season will be over shortly as they are down to about 6 chefs or so.

The new season of Kitchen Nightmares will premiere on Fri, Sept 23, 8pm. I'm so there! Love that show! This man is a culinary genious (big ups to that Virgo moon of his 😛). I just can't get enough of how he takes those arrogant, clueless "restaurateurs" to task...get 'em Ramsay!
