not meant to offend cancers :P

I've recently encountered a cancer and she intrigues me probably because I've never known a cancer on such a personal level before.
I've read that cancers are known to be protective of family and that their lives are basically about family.

So here's where I'm going with this. Lets set up a scenario.
Where a cancers sister or brother has a love interest.
Will cancer get jealous and be bothered by this love interest? I know they're pretty protective of family but would they actually stoop to lies to break up what could possibly happen between the two?
The loyaltly between friends is probably far less important than loyalty to family and if I had to make a guess, I'd bet family is first priority for cancers.

Ive seen her do this but I'm not sure. This has been my interpretation of this cancers intentions. This is alled based on what I know about cancers. Perhaps a cancers point of view would give me more perspective.

Maybe you dont do it on purpose? But what you feel on the inside will be obvious on the exterior because of the little things you will do unconsciously, people will catch on.

i'd never be "jealous" of my sister's relationships.. that's just odd to consider.

i wouldn't interfere in her relationship either, since she's smart enough to make up her own mind... but i am very protective of her, and if the fellow decided to lay a hand on her... well, that'd suck for him. i also would be disappointed if she dated someone i thought wasn't good enough for her, but again, that's her business.
