So,

I am in love with him but he rejected. He sees me as a friend but I see him more as someone with whom I want to spend my rest of the life with.

Though we don't talk, meet or share anything anymore, he texted me about sudden demise of his mother and how much financial troubles he is going through.

I offered him help but he rejected. I offered him if he would like to meet me again but rejected because I have feelings for him.

If I text he does not reply back and so I need to let it go and never disturb him again. I can feel that he is going through a lot of troubles and unfortunate events.

As he does not replies back but I have so much to say, should I write a letter or something to show that I am trying to be there for him?

His family knows me because he had mentioned that I am the best girl he has ever met and he would never let me go. To this his family has expressed desire to meet me. But things fell apart.

I want to tell him some ideas on how he can earn some more money and how much sorry I feel for not being able to meet his mother.

I think I should really leave him alone though. Confused. Any thoughts?

I have no idea why people think there's something sacred and ethereal about unrequited love. It's ugly and unhealthy emotion. Love is between two people. Unrequited love is more worship and unhealthy obsession because you can't seem to love yourself.

You need to learn to love yourself so you gain self-respect to never give time a day to someone who doesn't like you back or has rejected you.
