Any single Cancerian mommas that can give me advice on relocating? I'm currently based in Texas and I just really don't want to be here any longer. I would love a fresh start; and would love even more to hear stories of single mommas who made that move to a fresh start themselves.

I'm single (divorced) and I have kids. Ca is home, I love it here. Geography is varied, there's something for everyone, and bigotry is less tolerated. The weather is mostly great all year round (except for the heat in the summer), and the fresh produce is the bomb.

Single mom of 2. Left Florida for Atlanta & was just talking to my Bff tonight about maybe trying TX. Ppl I know prefer fl or atl over cali. I know that bc I wanted to try cali but was urged not to.
I'm in the same boat. Definitely wouldn't vote for atl.
Curious to know what region/part of TX you're hoping to leave & why you don't find it conducive to mom life?

I prefer west coast (and CA) to east coast, but that's because I'm used to actual mountains and I find it freaky and blah being places that don't have them. Also, less mosquitoes in my neck of the woods (haven't seen one since I visited louisiana).

Write a list of interesting places then go on City Data website to research. Also see how the job market is for your profession. Not a single mom but I do move when I get antsy. I like the South East coast.
