i share my bday with him! 🙂 hes very misunderstood..just like i am! i get that! maybe other people wont... if you only look at scientology...try looking at why he took up the religion and maybe if you are a cancer you might find a link.

he is an idol! i try to emulate his good qualities in me as much as i can. fantastic rolemodel as a father, husband, actor, philanthropist. one word sums up this guy "genuine".

Here are my problems with Tom Cruise:

1.) He is a Scientologist. Those guys are all out of their fucking minds. The only way you can be an official member of their "religion" is if you pay thousands of dollars each year to the head guy. Their primary "religious" belief? We as human beings all have a tiny alien inside of us, and we all have to become "scientologists" so that when the alien "mother ship" returns to earth, only those selected as Scientologists can actually get on the mother ship and escape the "dying earth" in the end times. No shit, that is what those fruitcakes believe. This is why everyone made fun of Katie Holmes for having Tom Cruise's "alien baby."

2.) Tom Cruise took Katie Holmes away from her own parents, and isolated her away from them. He basically ostracized her from her own father when he tried to stop him from courting his daughter and alienating her from society. Cruise pretty much destroyed her acting career, and cost her millions of dollars in acting contracts for the 2 Batman sequels she would have been given the chance to act in. Cruise is literally a controlling nutcase who ruined Katie Holmes' acting career during the prime of her young life as an actress.

Yes, I did like him in Top Gun. Yes I did like him in a few other movies.

But personally, I think he is out of his mind and he is also very destructive too.

Yeah, like many celebrities, he's really a fruit cake. I'm blaming his profession and not his sign on his high status in the cult of Scientology. 😉

Oh, I agree with you.

Case in point, Justine Bieber is probably the worst Pisces in all of Hollyweird.

Can't stand him or his stupid behavior, as this is hardly representative of my people's generally calm demeanor in life.

I read about poor Selena Gomez taking a nose dive into drugs and alcohol. If that is true, was it over her love for Bieber or something else?

I hear you, ScorpFish but Bieber's just a kid who grew up in celebrity, which is plain crazy-ville. The kind of juvenile garbage he's been getting in the news for is really small fry in my book and I see his issues having a lot more to do with being a child star (never a good thing) than being a Pisces. Him being a Pisces, actually, gives me hope he'll grow out of this. Unless he becomes a hard core addict and I really hope he doesn't go that path. And no, I don't like his music and can't tell you one song by him. Just saying.....Namaste.

you get +1 for SCiencefakology but seriously Katie Holmes? He took her away. She was gad damn 30 when she married Tom Cruise and he ruined her career? I didn't know she had one. How did i miss that memo.

Her career was to be his wife, cause she's a horrible actress, why she married him. In fact she USED him.

They were married for what? 5-6 years...ya MKAY...Prime of her life my azz.

I agree with a lot of what you're written here. No Katie didn't have a career. Yes, I'm sure she was attracted by his powerful status and hoped it would catapult her career. However, scienotology is a cult and there's a whole lotta mind control going on. This is also a cult that separates members from the so called non-believers in their family. Katie had to go thru all those auditing sessions when her marriage crumbled and that's straight up mind control. I am sorry for raining on your Tom Cruise parade. I do think he's an outstanding actor. I saw him in Rock of Ages, which admittedly isn't the greatest movie but I thought it was fun. He gave a real star turn as the Axl Rose lead rocker. His live performance was simply AMAZING. I mean he looked and sounded like a rock god. I really didn't think Cruise had that level of abandon in his acting chops. I also have some compassion for him falling into a popular Hollywood cult. But he's drunk the kool-aid hard core as the GMD the grand poo bear of the cult. Also, Tom Cruise came from a trailer park. It's always heart warming to see poor folk make it. So, in spite of the Scientology thingy, I respect the man and think he's a first-rate actor. A true movie star and there aren't many of them left.

Love your icon, btw. Head bumps, Este

maybe the main reason why he joined scientology was because he wanted to erase the bad memories from his past... if i knew i would be able to do that , i would like to experiment as well. the past creeping up again and again in my head shit is just beyond tolerable after a while.

I am not going to get into an argument about religion with anyone, as it is not in my interests today.

However, any "religion" that requires each member to pay thousands of dollars to Ron Hubbard each year for membership smells funny to me.

And their obsession with aliens and their spaceships is laughable.

I love Star Wars and Darth Vader as much as the next guy, but there is no way in hell I am gonna pay thousands of dollars each year so that I can be OFFICIAL and board the magic Star Destroyer when the earth is in it's "dying days."

Absurd.

And Katie Holmes would have been given the multi-million dollar contracts in the Batman sequels, but Cruise didn't allow her acting career any further.

Cruise also served as a human obstacle between a father and his daughter, which is a major RED FLAG for disaster. The instant Cruise pulled that crap, was the instant I knew this was all doomed. One cannot simply stop a woman from contacting her family and think the marriage will be perfectly fine. That is true madness.

Christopher Nolan offered her millions to come back for Batman 2, and Holmes said no. Do you honestly think she walked away from millions of dollars of her own free will?

Batman 2 made 155 million dollars on opening weekend, for crying out loud.

You know that's an interesting way of looking at it. Never considered it from that angle. And it makes sense to me. However, I still believe Scientology is a dangerous cult and I think he gave up far too much in order to "erase bad memories." Is that even really possible? Anyway, thanks for getting me to see this in a new light. I definitely respect Tom Cruise the actor.

1. I could care less about his personal life.

2. You say you won't argue about religion yet you judge his religion based on what? Money? News flash all institutionalized religions at some level make you shell out the big bucks.

3. Aliens—? That's crazy to you?? You remind me of the same conservative, bigoted Christians that hung Galileo because he said the sun didn't revolve around the earth. Or Copernicus who was killed because he said the earth wasn't flat. Broaden your horizons.

Your argument sucks. I could care less about Tom Cruise or Scientology. Backwards thinking bothers me.

You're an idiot. Shutup now.

thank you.

Oh hell yes. I've thought Chris Cornell was ultrasexy since childhood. I saw Soundgarden in concert about a year ago with my b/f, they were flawless live. Chris Cornell has aged minimally & incredibly well over the decades, I'll say that much.

Oh hell yeah. Me and you gonna have mud wrestle to see who gets with THAT. He wouldn't have to do more than sing for me and I'd be floating in the nether regions of heaven. That man is sexier than any man has the right to be.
