When cancer man goes silent on you

What is the best to do? I am
Not sure for the reason my cancer lover dissapeared out of my life. Didn't respond to my last messages, and it's been a week. I am not sure if I should reach out to him or let him be and find me when he is ready. Or won't he? Should I try to talk to him? (Before disappearing he said he wants to break up, but everything was very smooth just few days ago, so it's very unexpected to me)

Wow, OK. This sounds similar to my last situation. I am a Cancer and I dated a Cancer man for over a year. I really wasn't into him and would date other men on the side. I loved him, but I was not in love with him. Once I met my Taurus man, I told my cancer that same exact thing, which was that I wanted a break and space. I haven't called him since. I do miss him, but I was not happy with him.
Us Cancers are pretty consistent with our feelings for a person, unless we are not in love with them and we are searching for a relationship that will be more fulfilling. Don't expect honesty with your Cancer man, and do not expect for him to tell you that he is searching for/ or has found someone else he really likes. We try our best not to hurt another person's feelings and will even lie to make sure this does not happen, we just can't handle it. If he does come back to you, it is only because it didn't work out with his other situation and you are someone who can fall back to. I am just being honest..... Sorry
