why cancer men are not communicators?

Im in a long distance thing (shabby lately...) with a Cancer man and its just ridiculous how he doesnt like to communicate. Sending a message seems to be for him like a day job. The only conclusion I draw is that he is not into me. And then pammm he can send a long and vulnerable email... and then goes again silent for days. I initiate sometimes, but I try to keep the communication equal.

To answer another post, long distance arent for Cancers, mine has at least some gemini in the mix that might keep him curious over distance.
