Why do Cancerians over analyse everything!

Why do Cancerians over analyse everything, drives me insane, which I could stop, any tips or am I scared with this for life!

Meant to say wish I could stop but I think it's one of those pain in the butt cancerian traits, are we all like this? Or is it just me, I want male and female points of view! I'm new here, so hello all, would be nice to catch up with any other signs and get their perspective as well on us!

Clueless cancer, I'm glad it's not just me, I think we bring ourselves stress, I'm at that hibernating stage at the minute, spending time alone , trying to figure it all out!

sometimes we over analyze so much that we destroy what we really want, well in my case, its all the time. self destructive.

i want friends, but i purposefully destroy my relationships, i want love, but i hide from it, as if its some horror picture show, etc etc etc etc etc...

I think it comes down to the fact that when you feel like this you can tire out your self so emotionally that you get to a point of losing self and self control. That is what makes it so disliked. People might 'see' the ability to bee strong and keep balance, it doesn't mean the storms inside are giving up or giving in.

Yeah I'm keeping my self control at the moment so that's all good, just tearing myself up about it though, wish I could switch off!

I disagree that the over anazlying is what exhausts you. Read over this and tell me is it all of these things that make you analysis or does analyzing lead to these behaviors?

Right, I don't know what you see, but if you just consider these extracts then you'll see why it is a curse. So it is obviously a fact that things happen that cause the emotional exhaustion, 45 obviously, this triggers analysis, 66 which if you haven't experienced it your self is tiring in it self. Like playing a heavy strategic game in your mind with your heart chipping in between, and this all leads to behaviors, 109, and that just restarts the process. It is a cycle like no other. In the cancer case it appears to manifest numerous times though.

How could you have it any other way without changing other aspects?

And if you could wouldn't you be in danger without the defense mechanism of overthinking? I can't imagine having the benefits of being a cancer without any of the struggle. Not without getting hurt or completely nuts.

Omg! I love it I feel like I should print it off to remind myself, so maybe I just need to try a bit basically, as I'm only doing it because I care!

over analyzing is exhausting cause it means that you think about something, but not getting any conclusions that you can apply. so you invest energy, but there is no gain from it. you keep running in circles with your thoughts, or making things more complicated than they really are. the only way to avoid this is to be honest with yourself that could lead to get to know yourself better and make thinking process productive.

I took your advice, I stopped over analysing and acted on impulse, actually sent the message quickly so I couldn't try and talk myself out of it, it worked I got a reply 10 mins later, asking me loads of questions, nice ones, so happy lol

By asking me questions that's better than just replying and not asking anything, as that means he wants to talk, I'm guessing.

I do this. I do this a lot. ESPECIALLY when a person says something and their tone is all bitchy. LOL!

I think over analyzing is a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that we'll get to the heart of something faster than most, and be dead on accurate, even when others want to hide stuff, ignore or outright lie. The curse is that it annoys people who don't want to face stuff, or it makes mountains out of mole hills if we can't let the topic go.

I love that moonartist, that is so true it takes us a while to build up the courage to ask something, do we do wait a month, and we are usually erriely right, that's why people always think we have some sort of intuitive power, we are just hopeless at realising it ourselves for a while, and fixate on it and play out scenarios in our head as to different things they could mean by it (by something they said or did) my friends often ask me what does this mean or that mean, but I guess that's why we feel at a loss when we want to know something as few people analyse it like us, although I have to say, I have a lot of close Virgo friends, who also like doing this .

Fuck tham right.... but I personally have an inability to let go easily specially people that I really care and love, I've belleve as humans we do stupid mistakes out studip stuff... and their actions will shine to fix their human mistakes, but after those are more than inocent mistakes... you have to let it go... and even they deserved, I still overanalize things to the point of exaustion... now I feel more cancer than pisces 😭

I'm guessing your Gemini moon makes you more impatient. Do be patient, the more you do it, the more she'll trust. Don't be afraid to gently get her to communicate, either. Myself, I adore all of my scorpio friends for the fact that they won't pussy foot about stuff, but will be blunt about things. The blunt is never offensive, the way they do it, either. It always comes from the most caring of intentions.

No doubt about it, if someone keeps repeating a bad behavior that is damaging to the relationship, they eventually get the boot to the curb treatment.

I try to be patient with them. I do. I care about these ladies a lot. Them and Pisces women. It's not a competition, I'm just stating a fact. As a Scorpio man, it goes without saying that I like them both. I think the big thing with being patient with a Cancer woman is that I'm ALWAYS the one who has to start the conversation or has to be the first one to say anything and that gets really annoying really quickly. Just once I would like her to say something first.

Hmmm.....what are her other placements? I'm a triple cancer and I'm usually the instigator for convos. The exception is if I'm feeling shy or am upset. I'm outgrowing the shy factor, though. I usually end up talking to complete strangers just about anywhere I am.

Well that didn't work. Truthfully, I don't know. We're more of pen pals these days then anything else. Which hurts. But maybe that's for the best. She deserves the best. But I think her Mars is Scorpio and her Venus is Cancer. Mine is Mars Aquarius and Venus Scorpio. I've come across Cancer women and the old rule of thumb with them is to always be the one to say something first(again, their shields)because they are too shy to speak up. Yes, I have a pretty even distribution of water/fire/air. Cancer sun/moon/rising with aries mars and leo venus (not sag venus, though I do have a sag lilith). Maybe all of the cardinal energy in my chart makes me more of the instigator. I have the top 3 in cardinal, plus my mars. In my chart I have 3 of the 4 cardinal signs. Zero earth in my chart, though. Sometimes it makes me impatient with things in life when they don't go as I want or think they should.

Hmmmm....that is a long time for a response, at least for someone who might be interested. Maybe she's seeing someone locally? Maybe she doesn't see you as being a future prospect because of the long distance?

Depends on the Cancer woman, and on the problem. I do withdraw into my shell for various reasons, but those who know me best know how to handle it. Also, leaving me alone to sort it out on my own is fail proof. As for your Cancer gal, sounds like not enough communication is going on, and/or she's not interested. Have you flat out talked to her about your interest, and if she has any for you, other than friends?

And to add, Cancer is a Cardinal energy, so we're the instigators, usually.

I said I'm not going into it too personally, but I have talked to her briefly, I want to talk more to her about how I feel and what's going on with me, but she hasn't responded in awhile. Yes, at the first sign of trouble Cancer's will sometimes run. Depends on the trouble. Myself, if the trouble is a really messed up person, I'll run. If trouble is defending someone, I'll stand my ground and give it my all, with little thought to my own safety.

I know. And thanks for the help. I am thinking and I'm trying to not to get too emotionally involved. She'll write or she won't. What I don't like is being stringed along. Given little bits here and there and not really establishing anything firm. That annoys me and just makes me think she's elusive. I think the big part about me trying to get something to work between me and her is because she's a Cancer and me and her have a good rapport. Idk. It's maddening. But I let it go.
