Why do people VENUS IN GEMINI have such a bad rep?

Do people really have that many bad experiences with them?

I heard bad stories about cancers with their venus being placed in gemini!

"Gift of the gab", always finds the right expression. A good talker, refined, with a love of the Arts. Two-sided in emotional affairs, flirtatious. Superficial emotions. Countless and inconstant love affairs. Likes to play love games.

Weaknesses: Instability and fickleness in love. Often goes too far in love because of the desire to flirt and play on the other person, who will often suffer - but that is not his problem. Inconstant in love, which is ephemeral: he is unfaithful and can sometimes speak caustically. 😢

Both me and my friend are cancers with gem venus's. I think it's one of those aspects that really depends on how you grew up and your other placements.
I have mars in cancer so I'm very indirect. I don't like flirting with people really obviously. I get shy and uncomfortable. But she has mars in Aries, I think, and finds it quite asy to flirt in a more obvious way. She also has Leo rising so she really likes the attention and as an only child she's used to it
My rising is Saggitarius which doesn't like to get tied down too easily and prefers flirting by just being friends rather than real flirting.

I find that I have lots of interests in people and physical attractions but the only ones I'm interested in are the few in my life who have gone deeper than that; The ones who occupy the easly bored Gemini and don't try to tie it down, but also offer the deep, lasting, compassionate love that all my cancerian planets need.

I have venus in Gemini and I get bored easily with partner. I am NOT a physical cheater though. I will break it off after careful and full thought if I am not intellectually stimulated. I love communication and if a partner is not fulfulling this need of mine in that dept, I will go elsewhere for emotional support. I love fun and variety in my relationships. I do not like to rush into any relationship and I despise partners who question and smother me. I need my alone time and freedom.
