Are we really that cold?

I think that reputation comes from our drive and focus on our work or jobs. But outside of wok and the such I'm not a cold person at all. I'm only cold when I hold on to a grudge or wen I have to tell someone to just let go of something or just move on. But I'm not cold nor do I like being like that. If anything I noticed the other Earth signs and possibly air signs are a bit more colder then we (sorry no offense intended). But overall I don't feel we're that cold. Maybe just it's Saturn is a cold leader who never lets up. But does any other Cap here feel a reason to be cold, but you're never cold all the time nor like being like that?

I'm a little cold with drama queens/kings and with people are are over reacting emotionally. Will not participate in drama and I expect people to suck it and deal with things in a logically way instead of an emotional way. Same with people who don't learn from their mistakes and repeat the same actions expecting different reactions.

This coldness thing is something that I don't understand. Aquas, Caps & Virgos are often accused of being cold. It's not true. Maybe you appear cold to the super sensitive types of people who expect a softer approach to things. Personally I like Caps because they speak my language, "No time to cry because tears solve nothing, let's go!". I appreciate the toughness & the more practical way of dealing with things. One of the closest persons in my life is my Cap cousin. We GET each other. We are very brutal with each other as well because we know the other can take it. IDK but I like being around people I don't have to pussy foot around their little feelings. Let's go raw & have tea afterwards. Now that's mutual understanding right there lol.

Opposite of me. I'm pretty good with expressing warmth. And definitely on what tc said. My idea of expressing warmth is mainly just waiting till I know they feel the same about me then it'd be pretty safe. Just not so much PDA.

My best friend (may he rest in peace) was an Aqua and thought similarly to me. Explains why I get along with most Aquas, except those cuntholes steve and janet. But I never needed him to help me suck it up and move on, I'm pretty good at doing so and it's why i try to never get too attached. He was petty good at going at my flow as well. Pretty practical, I think hat's why we got along so well. As well as having the same goals.

Well i think it's because you all keep it real & are honest about whatever you believe or saying. I do know from my past experience with capricorns, that if they are going to through something whether it's relationships or business, they can be a lil closed off emotionally. Now the capricorns i have known have shown their emotions & worries to me many times. I have even seen them cry if something is really hurted them. I think i bring that emotional side out of them because i usually have more emotions than they do. So to say they are all "cold" isn't true. I can be sensitive too, but they have thought me i don't have to be that way. You can learn a lot from Capricorns. This is my personal experience

@Sn1p3r187..you know what...I'm usually not a cold person either...in fact, as an Air sign, I am so far from being that kinda person that sometimes it does itch at me JUST A LITTLE when I feel the need to re-act that way, but what I have found is that people who have become comfortable with being mean, nasty, rude and hateful will continue to be that way if they are allowed. Most people write it off as.."Oh, that's just the way they are", but in my opinion, it's never cool to think you can say foul shyt out of your mouth and not expect repercussions. Sometimes a dose of your own medicine is a good thing. I'm still working on being the better person, but right now I'm not in the mood to turn the other cheek. I also know that some folks are so miserable that no amount of reaction to their simple azz's will change who they really are, so you just have to pick your battles. However, I will say this...as a younger Air sign, I could be very cold if the need arose, and could hold a grudge for a lifetime, but my Capricorn husband taught me how to control and release my anger. I think Caps are very disciplined when it comes to their behavior.

Sorry. I might have been thinking of Aquas or something like that. I heard Aquas have a reputation for being cold so that's where that came from. But you have a good point there. It's always good to turn the other cheek and be the better person, I just wish my mom would see things like that. But I've noted that air signs are pretty good on control all by themselves.

Capricorns I feel your pain haha but I don't always feel the need to rigidly follow the rules...

Like literally that has got to be the fundamental difference between us. I sometimes feel like following the rules can lead to missed opportunities just as well as it leading to advantageous opportunities. There is a fine line to watch for when that may come about.

I think people forget each sun signs inherit strenghts and weaknesses. In so doing, they put unrealistic expectations on people and when their expectations are not meant,
they go straight to name calling.

For example, if I'm going through a personal crisis I have Libra, Leo or Gemini friends that can talk me out of it.

I will never put that expectation on a pisces, cancer etc

@GG..once again..agree with you 100% ..We all say negative things about each other comments on this site. I think it's healthy when you can have a some what heated debate or discussion about our likes and dislikes because that's what makes the world go around. You can always learn a lot when engaging in conversations be it negative or positive, but you should always be able to take something from it. None of us will EVER totally agree with each other and that's perfectly okay, but we can agree to disagree and let that be the reason for the season.

However,you should know that when you make GENERALIZED statements such as Scorpio men this, Cancer women that, Pisces people do this, Libra women is this etc.,....someone is possibly going to take it a little personal and negatively comment back. Nevertheless, when you start attacking someone personally..ie..their looks/race., etc, then that changes the rules of the game. You don't get to attack someone's person and call them derogatory names and not expect them to come back at you. That's just the law of human nature. Some folks on this site take great pleasure in calling people out, but when it's done to them, they want to feel some kinda way. Yes, we all should be bigger than that, but unfortunately, that's not always the case. I for one, am still a work in progress..LOL

^^^ I hate people like that. But what exactly can we do about generalized statements. We can't really do much except ignore them.

I am not cold but I detest when people play the victim, complain or generally adapt a disgusting crybaby persona. You will get no more than I few words out of me. I just won't respond or enable their behavior by feeling sorry for them or telling them "things aren't that bad". I will however do my best to help find solutions or fix a problem should I be asked.

I also don't like to talk about my emotions and I don't like pda. I will express my likes and dislikes and after that there's no need for anyone to ask or wonder. If I don't say anything it's because I don't have anything to say. I think I ought to be fairly simple to grasp!

The times I have gotten stuck in life's mysteries and need someone to tell me to get my head out of my ass, I contact my Cancer Sun-Sag Moon friend. He's brutal and I brace myself everytime I call but afterwards I am glad I did! HE is one cold human if I ever met anyone, just pure and cold logic in his body and mind.

Caps are not cold, but you will have to pass a few tests to get anywhere with them. IMO, Earth signs all test a bit..in order of toughness: Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus. However, once you have proven yourself to an Earth sign and become their friend or partner, they will stick with you through thick and thin! If they love you..you will always have a special place in their heart even if it didn't work out, and if you got away somehow, they will try to build with you again. Caps are super focused when they have a goal in mind, but the reason for the goal is not just to benefit themselves. They can be very generous if you are someone they care about and attentive in practical ways. Can you tell I really like you Earth signs? 🙂

Air signs can definitely be colder IMO, Geminis don't really like to get involved, Libras don't like to get their hands dirty, and Aquas don't know know to show emotions.. 🙂 Fire signs will be right there with you through it all too...but we don't have the same staying power as Earth signs.
