Okay, I call them horrorscopes, instead of horoscopes. Long term joke. Anyway this is what Susan Miller says for July for us.

Being a cardinal sign - Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn - has become something of a marathon test of strength, courage, and determination ever since the eclipses came by Cancer-Capricorn from December 2009 to July 2011. After those eclipses moved on to other signs, you expected relief, but at the same time, Uranus moved into Aries in March 2011, a thorny place for you, so you began to see that there was no rest for the weary. Uranus is still in Aries, and will be until March 2019. By now you are used to the influences of Uranus as he moves through your home and family sector, bringing change and a need to adjust to new conditions. You are doing great, dear Capricorn, and you should be congratulated.






Now in July, as Jupiter settles into Cancer, you will have new reason to be optimistic. This is a game-changer and a new reason for hope. Late last month, on June 25, Jupiter entered Cancer in your house of partnership, ruling all serious commitments, including those of marriage and all sorts of business collaborations and serious partnerships. Jupiter will remain in this house for a year, until July 16, 2014.






Your seventh house is an important sector, because it lies on a key angle of the chart - the Western point. Planets that move through one of the four angles of any chart are said to become as strong as wild horses, and will always exert a much greater than usual force. This is great news when you have the great benefic (as the ancient astrologers always called Jupiter) in that house - you want a strong Jupiter acting on your behalf. Because Jupiter brings growth, you will likely get exceptional support from the partners you make alliances with in your life from now on. If you are already married, or in a business alliance, then your partner will do exceedingly well this year, and you will benefit from your partner's good fortune.






This is a new element in your chart, as Jupiter has not been in this area of your chart since mid-2001 to mid-2002. If you can recall what happened to you in that span of time, you may get a clue of what is to come. The planets surrounding Jupiter will have continued to change and move into other signs and houses, of course, but you may be able to detect something special that benefited you through the work of a partner or collaborator back then.

More amazing news! Jupiter is said to be exalted in Cancer, meaning he is able to express his very best qualities as he travels through that sign and provide you with the greatest possibilities for personal growth. This is the area - your seventh house of partnerships - that you will learn the most about yourself and the world around you, so you will have much to gain by making various commitments to carefully chosen individuals in your life during the coming twelve months. This would be considered the best year in twelve to marry, so perhaps that happy event will be on your agenda soon. The coming twelve months is a time to not try to do everything in life alone, but to see the advantages of working closely with a person who can bring qualities that you don't have so that you can achieve your greatest life goals, personal or professional.

This month, Jupiter will be flanked by the majestic new moon on July 8 in Cancer (16 degrees), the Sun and Mercury, also in Cancer, which represents quite a bit of planetary power in this one partnership area. Mars, arriving a little later on July 13, will also add a great deal of emphasis through the end of August. Surely, your focus will be here, either to form a partnership or to end one. Jupiter is the happy planet, so you can read Jupiter's influence as you like, but I feel you will be happy.

You may soon get engaged or married, or sign a business partner or collaborator who will become a gem for you. If you are already married, your partner will do well, and you will benefit from his or her good fortune this year. The people you align with now seem to be very willing, able, and qualified to look out for your interests. You may team up with a collaborator on writing a screenplay, or you may hire a new agent or publicist who will work hard to bring your work to the attention of people who matter. Professionals come under the ninth house too, so you may switch lawyers, consult a distinguished doctor, hire a new accountant, or open a shop with a partner who complements your talents. The person may be older than you, or quite established, for Jupiter's presence seems to imbue dignity and experience.

If your birthday falls on January 6, plus or minus five days, this new moon will have a more powerful effect on you than on other members of your sign. Mercury will be retrograde in Cancer now through July 20 (a holdover from June 26), so go slowly. It would not be wise to make any big moves while Mercury is retrograde, for its very presence suggests you don't have all the facts just yet. When Mercury retrogrades, it is also a signal that the world is currently in flux, and conditions are heading in a new direction. You will find out more after Mercury goes direct, but it may take time. You would not want to make any serious commitments just yet - you have time, so slow down. For now, delays will benefit you. You will see the truth of this later.

On the same day as the new moon, July 8, Saturn will go direct, which is very good news for you, as Saturn is your ruler. If you wondered why you were not making the progress you expected to make on many fronts, personal and professional, it may be due to Saturn retrograde until now. A good rule of thumb is this: when your ruling planet is resting, life seems to slide into a kind of limbo. It is a good time to go back and reassess projects and relationships and to tweak what seems to need fixing. Saturn went retrograde on February 18, so watch the days surrounding July 8 for clues that indeed, some key elements in your life will become alive and start click for you, dear Capricorn.

Something incredibly special is about to happen this month that I have been anxious to tell you. A golden triangle of three outer planets will appear in the sky, all in water signs, involving Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, and Neptune in Pisces. Your earth element blends beautifully with water - water and earth is very fertile, and produces flowers. You will feel the exceptional harmony of this triangle all month and into the first days of August, but it will be wise to know these planets will be moving into perfect calibration mid-month. When? On July 17, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune will each reach 5 degrees and each will be precisely 120 degrees apart. On the following two days, July 18 and 19, you also have spectacular luck, but my favorite day will be July 17 for you. Considering that Neptune takes 165 years to revolve around the Sun, and Saturn takes 29 years to make the same journey, and Jupiter, 12 years, you see how remarkable it is that these planets are making this rare pattern in the heavens. This golden triangle will benefit for everyone, but the fact that Saturn, your ruler, will be a part of this configuration means you stand to gain a

The first day when this will be apparent will be July 3-July 4, when the Sun and Uranus will be at hard angles to each other. Suddenly a problem will come up out of the blue and may involve a piece of property or a parent or someone you think of as a parent, most likely a male. This day will require fancy tap dancing, for the news will come out of left field.

The second instance will be July 31, also a day you will need to keep your wits about you. Mars will challenge Uranus, and again, you feel like you are getting another jolt of electricity involving a residential or other property situation, or one involving your parent. If you are moving on this day, do not give the mover's any valuable items like tax records, the family china, or precious jewelry. Work only with a name brand van mover and check their record with a watchdog group like the Better Business Bureau.

Still, try to investigate your options on July 22 when Jupiter will align with Mars, a once-every-two-year occurrence. Mars rules your solar house of home and other property, and rules your parents, so if you need a solution to solve any matter related to these areas, this is the most likely day you will hit on the right one. You may find a perfect place to live, or a lauded assisted living home not too far from your home that might be right for your father. All kinds of new solutions might arise on July 21.

While I am listing difficult days, I might as well add July 27, when Saturn will be at hard angle to the Sun, which may be an exhausting day for you. The Sun is essentially a hot fiery star, but Saturn is cold and icy, so you have two bodies converging at 90 degrees (a harsh angle) that are not basically compatible. Money will be on your mind, and you may be bummed out that you can't participate in a social event because your funds are short.

Speaking of money, you seem to be finishing up financial talks or sending a hefty payment at the time of the full moon in Aquarius (0 degrees) on July 22. If you owe money, it seems you won't be able to put off that payment.

As said earlier, you can sign contracts, so do so on a weekday, just after the full moon of Sunday, July 21, or Monday, July 22. Give the full moon of July 22 a plus or minus four days. Again Saturn will be standing in the doorway, preventing you from going to an event with friends. Or, you may have to put off buying something you want until your expenses simmer down. possible that you will want to help a friend financially who is in need, and you likely will do so, but it seems that friend won't be able to repay the money you gave him or her later. (You may be OK with those terms, as your friend apparently needs you.)

If your birthday falls on January 19, or within three days of this date, this full moon may prove to be important to you, as the full moon will form an out-of-sign conjunction to your Sun. Money appears to be the topic for you at this time, but if you are born late in the sign like near January 19, this full moon may touch on other vital areas in your life, such as health, real estate, a relationship, or other matter that is dearly important to you.

I had mentioned July 27 as a tough day, but there is a second hard aspect on that day that might infringe on your closest relationship. A partner may be too domineering, forcing you to stand up for yourself. Don't shake the tree on this day, for surely some sort of coconuts will fall out and hit you on the head. In other words, delay talking about a touchy subject with your steady lover or mate, as things will too easily unravel emotionally, beyond what you might expect.

Wedged in between the two tough days I just mentioned (July 27 and July 31) is July 29, a day that has many wonderful sextiles (planets 60 degrees a part, denoting opportunity) and some believe it will surpass all other days this month in its benefits and good fortune. I do not agree. I feel any good day requires a new moon prior to the day or be within four days of a full moon. July 17, 18, and 19 fits that description (love July 17) but July 29 does not.

Single or married, Venus' job is to fan the fires of love, and she does her job very well. Mercury will have regulated and will now be moving direct (after July 20), so all is right with the world again. Use this period to circulate socially and to look for the newest things that are appearing in the shops for the next season. You may want to find time to consult with a stylist at your hair salon or barber shop to create a new, more modern look.

As one of my friends always used to say, "Looking GREAT is the best revenge when life doesn't go quite right." Spending a little money on your looks will pay off at month's end, dear Capricorn. You deserve to treat yourself well.

Right. Sigh, I'm still in pain over this man (also a Capricorn) calling it quits this week as I was saying in the retrograde thread.

Outside of that, I really hope Jupiter does it big for me because a man has never made me feel this low before.

So far this has been a very busy and tiring month with lots of stuff for work that needed to be taken care of. I'm going for a short vacation next week and meet up with some friends from 15-20 july. So fingers crossed. I feel like letting a friend that's still there know I am getting tired of her bullshit but I also have a more long-term plan in place to give her some space and send her a nice card when I am on vacation. 🙂

I should be getting some money on the 22nd and don't own anyone as far as I know.

I'm actually flying on the 27th and I already know that will be a long, tiring flight. (probably close to 36 hours without sleep LOL)

so i've been hangin low... i kinda feel like i need to hang even lower.

i read this last week and ... nothing really seems relevant. at the end she asks anyone to give her feedback on what days are really standing out, etc.

i really wanted to report back to her that ALL of my days have been giving me weird vibes this month! this retrograde can't end soon enough.

@Creepy: I have been feeling weird too but keeping busy has kept me distracted. Finally did clear up a day or two ago, so thus far we're on schedule. I can't wait for the rest of the month but I always did have this head-first into the wall attitude. 😛

My Cap man and I split just this past June after being with eachother for a year and a half. He wasn't ready for the next level, as in marriage and we were both getting close to making that commitment- we were so happy, but he has two years left of school and still lives with his mom.

When Jupiter was in my 1st house of Self last year (I'm a Gemini) the astrologers kept saying "Lucky you!! This year's all about you!!", but it didn't feel that way at all. It felt like my world was upside down, everything that was in my life got totally inverted. As in things I had I no longer had, and things I never had I had (if that makes sense).

Jupiter EXPANDS- so I think it terms of partnerships this year, Caps are gonna do some MAJOR maturing- could experience growing pangs in a sense like we had when we were kids.

My I cappy I know will do a lot of growing up this year.. I was the light of his life and he had major trust issues due to all his past girlfriends cheating, but I showed him there are faithful women and I wasn't trying to hog-tie his freedom. Which is why I had to let him go so he could fulfill his dreams. He was (is) my best friend.
