Capricorn & Cancer...

My cappy and I have been going strong for two years now. For me, any challenges we faced, starting this relationship have been WORTH IT!

What I've learned about him (don't know if it applies to all Cappys):

1. He was very slow to trust but once I was in, it has been absolute.
2. If we have had a tiff, he will analyze every dang angle until he figures out what HE can do differently to avoid it happening again.
3. He is a pleaser. He will absorb everything about your likes and wants and will surprise you out of the blue.
4. Getting through all the protective layers has exposed one of the sweetest, funniest, and downright kindest man I've ever known.
5. He is a friggin awesome chef (and I thought I was pretty darn good in the kitchen...lol)

To anyone out there wondering "is this Cappy worth it?"....I say HELL YEAH!

So nice and refreshing to hear someone happy on these boards for a change. Especially with someone who is so slow to trust. Im curious to know if he did the push-pull, hot-cold with you and if so, what was it like. Thanks for spreading the hope!

Yes, he sure did. Every time I felt we were getting really close, he would beg off. Turns out, he was trying to figure out how NOT to screw it up, not wanting to come on real strong. He actually said he didn't want to smother me, which is a cancer thing (his moon is in cancer)...but I also think he was testing me.

water signs do test a lot. Im a leo, but cancer venus, scorp moon..have more water than fire. Since Ive learned about astrology, Ive come to realize how I have tested men too.

Reality bites. Im glad you are happy with him. He sounds like a darling.

Nah, but 10 bucks says that after he cheats, he somehow tries to blame her for his cheating.

Good for you. I'm a Pisces with a Cap and everything you wrote about your Cap applies to me and mine as well. When you finally get behind that iron curtin protecting their hearts, you are allowed into a world unknown to most. Cherish his trust and his love for to have gained it says alot about you as well. I wanted to ask, from your Cancer point of view, what's the best apprach that a cap can take when the Cancer is in the "sidestepping" motion?

Definitely, don't return the sidestep or ignore. That totally infuriates me. Best approach for me would be face to face discussion about what's bothering me. A great big ole hug and reassurance works wonders for our insecurity!

always thought that it was a cap's least compatible water sign as both signs are pretty moody and it'd be difficult to consistently sync those up. it's probably mainly because many of the cancers i know go from hard shell to soft shell and back and forth so it always seems as if there's some internal imbalance. i never have a problem getting along with them but, for me, it's mostly a friend thing

It really depends on so many things. The planets account for a piece of our behaviors and the rest are learned or influenced by our environment. I just know its working, it feels right and we enjoy each other.

I'm a Cancer dating a Cappy too 🙂

He was slow to trust for sure but luckily I ignored all the negativity from other people and went with my gut. I bet on him, and I won.

It is so true about him analyzing every argument though haha he's always trying to, "fix" things, even if it's something small or my fault..some little Cancer insecurity or something, he's always trying to better the situation and he will not for the life of him let me leave a room or get off the phone upset about something, he tries to resolve things immediately!

Men always like to solve the problem right away and women need to emotionally process before solving. Not a male cap "thing". Just a male thing.

Loss of a capy is suicide for a cancer.... Believe me! i lost one!!!! All the best.... Cancer and cap goes real fine until hell breaks loose......

I don't run into many Cap males.
Seems like a natural empathy between the two.
Big fights though. Making up isn't far off though.
