Mars is exalted in Capricorn...maybe that's why.
They work very hard...from a very young age! And work obsessively.
I knew one.. He was a Cap sun too, with cap Venus also. In school...it felt like he didn't have life outside studies after 9th grade(he would attend other institutes and was into sports - besides school) .. He would always be silent and his schedule was kind of scary...we all used to wonder how he managed, if he even got sleep.. He managed his studies also so well.. And obviously he's in a top university now..

I think it depends on aspects and where the mars sit on what house.
mars in 12th - could need to be less aggressive with drive for example. since 12th house dissipates, dissolves.
With Mars in the 12th house, our drive, will, motivation and fighting instinct is secreted away in a very private area of the chart. Typically, planets in the 12th house can be given up for a greater good. In a study done by Gauquelin, it was noted that many sports men and woman had this placement. libra are known to be lazy.
not in a bad way, but they need REST.
Scorpio and Capricorn ALONE as signs are not Lazy at all.
they are DRIVEN and ambitious. From my own personal experience seeing my own relatives, family, ect ect.
they may not be driven in the way going up the ladder like a CEO, or a president of a company...
but one of my uncles (cappy) is a driven Blue collar worker, who never went to college, but he owns two homes, worked in the family restaurant and has a skill that is very very USEFUL for building /construction work. (hands on work)
the other cappy uncle owned his own business, from ground up. DRIVEN.
I cant do what he does. plus he's physically strong. he was married long term to a stay at home wife/mother who had recently passed from cancer. A good dutifulw wife. (many Capricorn men are very very traditional)

I personally know a few people with cap mars. One is the youngest person to intern at NASA atm. He struggled and even contemplated dropping out of high school once, but after being introduced to a aerodynamics class, he realized the value of learning, disciplined himself, and earned multiple awards and scholarships. Another got a full ride scholarship to d1 school on a football scholarship after his coach told him he would never get big enough. Afterwards, he also got a full ride scholarship to a university near his parents. He's only 20 and makes $ 23/hr while still in college working for one of the largest computer programming companies in the nation
I honestly didn't think anything special about cap mars until i met those people...
Some people on here are saying the people they know are lazy.. might be the house placement or aspects.

sometimes i do wish i have cap mars instead of pisces mars. i am lazy when it comes to mundane tasks that do not inspire. thanks god my scorp is not like me lol and cool with my inconsistent energy. i can work tirelessly night and day when i'm inspired but then after that i need to sleep 12 hours and remain mentally lazy for a while lol

you're lucky. I can't even remember when I slept 12 hours anymore.
EDIT - even if my husband can sleep in for 12 hours in the weekends, I can't.
i need another 12 hour sleep after a few drinks tonight
