Capricorn Woman & Leo Man

Any capricorn woman ever been with a leo man that could share some experience of the goods and bads? smile
Back when we were very, very, very young and in college. Didn't work because I was immature and he liked the fraternity groupies. Fast forward 25-30 years and we are very, very good friends. Strictly platonic. I don't think we'd get along as a couple now because we are too different, but he is the bestest best male friend a girl could have.
Yeah, but Leo likes our stability, our ability to make and manage money to help finance the luxurious life style and they like our classy ways.
The Cap likes the Leo warmth, the Leo charisma and fun and protectiveness and the Cap doesn't mind letting the Leo have the spotlight.
The Leo doesn't like that Cap isn't lovey-dovey with words of love and the cap doesn't like that the Leo is clingy and needy.
There are positives AND negatives.
Leo's just need a lot of ego stroking. They get their feelings hurt very easily if their partner doesn't pay them enough attention. I don't think I could do it. I have things to do, chores to get done, teenagers to keep up with, a full time job, money to count (haha! just kidding!!), etc. I think with me they would feel like I didn't give them enough attention and that other things came ahead of them. Just being honest.
Leo's are charismatic and natural flirts. Women tend to throw themselves at them. I don't think I would like that, not one single bit.
The Gem accused me of that. Don't know how. I needed him for a lot of things. I suppose I didn't show it. Lesson learned.
@Truecap Well I guess it brings the question as to what does a Cap woman needs from her man?

If i was a leo man i wouldn't get with a capricorn woman unless she had a water sign moon or a Fire sign moon.

Lol!

It??s very true that Leo and Capricorn are opposites and we are attracted to each other. In order for this relationship to work both need to understand each other well and be extremely patient. My capy has thought me how to be patient. ???I no longer need things like yesterday?? ???my wants are no longer my needs????_??_My Aries moon is now in check and it??s actually a good feeling. Thanks to astrology I was able to learn and understand my capy and we get along well??_.eight years later we are still learning from each other.
As a Leo I??m teaching capy how to relax, enjoy life and to splurge a little from time to time. I can tell that capy feels comfortable with me because she is becoming more expressive with her feelings. One piece of advice if a capy ever opens up to you and pours her heart out DO NOT and I repeat I DO NOT ACT LIKE YOU ARE SHOCKED by her sudden expression of emotions, just act normal and understanding or else she will shut down and you may never witness this ever again.
I cap woman or any woman doesn??t just need a man, we need a partner that can learn to understand us and is willing to compromise to make the relationship work.

Food for thought...thanks Unknown2u
I think Leos have a thing for Cap women...not sure what it is or why, but I think they are attracted to Caps. I posted that story last year about the Leo I met walking on the trail who was an absolute sweetheart. My Leo uncle was attracted to my sisters Capricorn friend.
I remember a Leo at my aunts house saying his ex was a Dec 23rd Cap. He said she was "H@ll on Wheels" lol but says shes great with his kids and would do anything for her.
I think maybe it's the fiestiness they are attracted to? Here Brody(Leo) talks about first meeting Kristen(Capricorn)...I love when he takes that breath after saying he never seen a girl act like that before.
Perhaps, my little anecdote doesn't apply due to role reversal, but.....I'll say it anyway.
I dated a Leo woman a few months back. Nightmare! She was very nice, and thought the world of me, but I couldn't pry this woman off with a crowbar! I've never dated someone so clingy, except maybe a Gemini (another disaster).
Anyway, I have a very dry, deadpan sense of humor, and the Leo lady was utterly lost. My dry, cynicism flew right over her head, and I had to explain every single damn thing I said. It was very annoying. Then, even after explaining my 'joke', she'd pump sunshine at me, telling me "everything will be OK", and "things aren't so bad, they'll get better." I just shook my head in disbelief, constantly. Even after explaining that I was 'being funny', she just couldn't grasp the concept and took every word literally.
Anyway, I had the break it off talk with her, explaining my reasoning, that being incompatibility at the most fundamental level (We just don't jive, don't get each other, lack chemistry, etc.) She still DID NOT GET it. Just about every conversation we had was a struggle, and she didn't see it or feel it.
She took things very hard, but to her credit, she went away and left me alone. She did run into a couple of my buddies and told them I had "relationship issues". LOL .... what relationship?

Was she significantly younger?
I have a hard time believing/hate to think she was as air-headed as you are making her sound.
Damn shame, too considering "She was very nice, and thought the world of me... "
Not always easy to find.
Where's your Merc?

Quite the opposite. She is 10 years older. It was hard for me to believe she was that out of touch as well, but nonetheless true.
My Mercury is in Capricorn. Not sure of the significance though. I'm lost past the Sun sign, and no pro like the rest of you.
Maybe you can explain Merc traits in Cap for me? I'm curious.

Ahh-- well, Mercury is how you communicate.
And your Merc sign will always be close to your Sun-- they will never be more than 28?? apart.
So it's possible that hers was in Leo, which I have to say, does not understand the morose humor of Caps.
I have it, myself *grin*-- but I was raised by a Cap sun (with Cap moon), so I'm accustomed.
"Hey, Daddy-- how are you?"
*big sigh* "Oh, you know-- life's a bitch, and then you die-- what can I say?" *laughs*
Straight Face

Here you go: Mercury in Capricorn
And if you're interested in the other: Mercury in Leo

@Truecap Well I guess it brings the question as to what does a Cap woman needs from her man?

Cap women need security (not necessarily financial, security that once we do open up you won't leave us or make fun of us as well).
We also need loyalty.
And trust - this takes a while. We need time to build a friendship with you and time to observe and analyze that you are who you say you are as well as determining your character traits.
We also need independence.
Grant her some alone time and don't act all jealous or insecure about what she does with that time. Don't smother her, this makes us run.
Don't push her for commitment too soon or tell her you love her too soon (timing is everything and too soon = insincerity to us).
Be a manly man and make her feel protected and safe.
Allow her to be serious.
Listen to her when she talks.
Most of all - MAKE HER LAUGH. Show her how to have fun. Capricorns need that desperately.
Once a capricorn opens up and trusts you, we are much more loving and affectionate than we let on. You're going to do just fine, as long as you're patient.
OMG!!!...there is a leo guy i work with that i absolutely adore!! He is wonderful and sweet. His older. Now, there is also one who is younger who is ughhhhh! He makes my skin crawl. But the older one, omg, he is such a sweetheart adore adore adore
I cracked my Cappy up last night. me merc virgo/ him merc cap
He's had an earache for a couple of days, just taking Panadol or whatever for pain relief/ but we were trying to figure out what it was.
I go into overdrive -
Have you been swimming in any public pools lately? No
What about cleaning out your ears with cotton swabs? No
Have you had any water running into your ear while showering? No
Did the doctor flush it out? Yeh
Have you tried AquaEar? No
OOOkayyy, well, have you been standing sideways in any strong headwinds...? You know, gusts or mountain tops lately? (straight face, serious question)!
Cappy justs squints at me for a second or two... Long pause in conversation...
(deadpan) Yeah Wag, I need giant ear muffs, cos you know, the wind just catches me sideways and whistles right through!! It's completely empty between the ears, I'll be sure not to stand sideways to the wind next time I'm outside! =-)
We died of laughter right there / tears

im a capricorn who has had 2 kids by a leo man. problem we had we both stubborn, he is selfish opposed to me bein selfless, but we both got along great and hes only selfish about how other people tried gettin my time and about how i was returnin the love of help we got when i was pregnant and he always wanted to dominate and in all areas i felt i should in those areas im great at managing; which is em all, but he could get the ones that should be filled by males. we had issues cuz im more mature than he is and hes older than i am but once the passion left i couldnt care on a romantic level anymore
