I've been known to forget to reply for a couple of weeks when I'm busy. That's with friends and potential lovers. A text will be part of the giant stack of e-mails and normal mail I have to answer and sorry but answering a text like that while at work is usually not a good idea because I am not in the mood or mindset for sweet and funny replies when at work. And sometimes I forget about it.

The feeling I am getting here is that you are just pissed at him right now and he feels that. He probably doesn't know how to approach you right now.
And if you really didn't care anymore you would just ignore him. Ice-cold

I do ignore him? He's a guest where I work, if he asks for something I can't pretend that I didn't hear him and not do it.

They weren't funny texts, weren't sent while he was working, etc. But yeah like you said "Who knows."

^ What Champ said. I communicate better with people in-the-moment than through virtual messaging, text or otherwise. Ask him what he's doing. Tell him he's making you uncomfortable, and it won't meet a good conclusion. His idea of a date didn't sound very classy... Don't be afraid to tell him how it is. I'm sure he can handle it.

And if you have to wait til you're off the clock to avoid trouble at work, so be it. Either way he's gotta figure it out.
