Finish What You Start....Maybe/Maybe Not—

Ok....so my best two friends, guy and gal, are Caps. My gal friend 24yrs and counting, and my guy best friend is my ex who I was with for 4yrs and crazily the friendship part of our relationship always stayed in tact even after we split, we've been knowing each other for 17yrs (together the first 4yrs we knew each other). The gal friend is an early Jan Cap and the guy friend is a late Dec Cap. They're just a bit different, but all so freakishly similar in how they act & move in relationships.....extremely affectionate, do not like conflict/arguing/drama of any kind (lawd please never try to reprimand a dam Cap unless you want the shutdown/silent treatment for umptenth days/weeks...lol!), and for everything holy they just cannot be alone/single for an extended period of time....they must be in some sort of relationship with a partner (thinking this is in part of their "need for affection"...lol). The BIGGEST area where I noticed they are similar is undertaking projects! I swear Caps have to be some of the most optimistic idealistic people in the world...lol! Always got a plan on accomplishing things and then are so freakin' passionate about it that they easily get others to buy into it...smh...lol! However, once the wheels get rolling on the project....if it has a couple setbacks or is taking way much longer than they anticipated...dammit its a wrap...project OVER & DONE...lol! WTH is this about?!?!? Why can't Caps (in general) finish sh** (oops...I mean "projects"...lol) that they start?!?!? Even now, my ex knows that I always refer to him as the ex with "good intensions...ONLY!"...smh...and he just laughs because he knows I can call all of his unfinished projects out even to this day...(bad bad critical Virgo)....lol! My gal best friend is NOOOOOO different as well!!!!

I think cardinal signs are meant to start things that fixed signs have to step in and finish.

This is both my Capricorn friend and I, AND my mothers Cap ex, AND my father lol. None of us are good at finishing what we start. I do think there's truth to Cardinals being the initiators, cause once we initiate we lose interest and get bored very easily. It definitely take a fixed sign to help us follow through.

My Aqua mom would help her Cap ex in that area. She was the determination behind his visions.

I joke that we want to arrive at the destination without traveling the journey. Biggest dilemma.

Thanks 037! 🙂....I never thought about a fixed sign being able to help a Cap that way....but it would make sense because fixed signs tend to follow thru with determination on things they set their minds to.

I believe in time and the truth (I am a realist)... Sometimes, it is simply NOT THE TIME or I don't have the available resources to get the task done ACCURATELY the way I want it done.

Sure I can cheat to achieve the goal, but the fun lies in following the rules to learn how to bend them without breaking them. Capricorns NEED to FEEL we HAVE EARNED IT to enjoy it. I have finished task or goals years later after putting it ON PAUSE. Why waste time on something that cannot be finished at the moment— Staying stuck trying something that isn't working at the moment is frustrating and time consuming, (Caps hate wasting time!!!) on to the next.

Maybe we need to evolve, grow, mature or just ask for help to complete something. All I can say is when the time is right, it will be done... With or without anybody!

SureShot.....I should've included the "Pause button" method that Caps love to employ as well....taking them years to come back to and deal with. My gal best friend and her real estate license....took her dam near 8 - 9 yrs to stay focused on it long enough to get that silly thing out of the way. And my guy best friend is in the Nuclear Science & Engineering industry where he's reached the glass ceiling with his credentials and must have other certs and a specific degree before he can branch out on his own to get govt contracts in his industry. He was attempting to get govt contracts on his own when we were together...and have had that "project" on the shelf since...lol! However, he is just now obtaining the specific degree he needs so he can branch out on his own & bid for contracts where he can run the entire thing. One thing I can say about Caps though....it may take forever to get certain things done by taking hella "detour" routes and the world may come to an end by that time....but ya'll will still be the last ones standing still trying to get done what ya'll initially set out to do...LOL!

That's not true with me. I finish everything. And i even have a mutual crazy gemini moon.
Maybe it's the double cardinal in me that does it?
Results are very important to me. And quality. Wasting my time on shit that never becomes anything, I'd rather commit suicide.

Everything....I think u may be onto something with that "Gem Moon" of urs. I have at least 4 other close friends that are all Gem suns and I swear they often tend to not take on something unless they know that they're more than likely going to finish it....and 99% of the time....do end up finishing it! Love my Gem comprades as well! 🙂

Now I agree with that too. Inlalways come back to finish what I started. It can take years and years but I make myself back around. I do think many of us are perfectionists, at least I am. If I don't get it perfect I abandon it and move to something else until I'm in the mood to chip away at it again.

I love being in a relationship.. And I have a LOT of capricorn in my chart. Being out of a relationship felt unnatural like I had too much time to think and not of positive things, of all the ways my previous relationships didn't work out. And why should we be alone, there are plenty of fish in the sea that would love to be with us 🙂
