Are you guys pretty good at it and how often do you practice. I've been practicing Taijutsu, Kenpo, Aikido, Krav Maga, and Judo for the past 5 months and I have to say I'm doing pretty well. The guy who's been teaching me used to be a part of the Marine Corps martial arts program. He wasn't a instructor, but he at least taught me what I know now. I don't get what I see in fighting and self defense sometimes. I feel it helps me relax sometimes and take my anger out on a punching bag or mannequin if I'm angry instead of people. Oh, strange thing. Muhammad Ali is a Capricorn. Is there also like a strange connection between Capricorns and fighting along with self defense? But if you do study what I mentioned, how often and where did you learn it?

Then why haven't you? If you want to take it- do it.

As soon as you try a lock I'm gonna have to Judo flip you before you even try. But then again, you might counter it.

Anyway. Back to topic.

I think it is because of who we are, and what we put up with constantly that we make great fighters, after all it takes great strenght to conquer yourself, that makes conquering others a piece of cake ^.^ ( cant post vids through phone, so if that link doesnt work just search in youtube " alyssa sharpe what i love about capricorns")

Back to topic thread, i tried kickboxing, and i need to go back, but it's fun, it's probably the best exercise i've ever tried. i got alot of aggression so i pound that bag!

When I first started Kickboxing when I was 15. The first time I kickboxed, got a black eye, broken nose, and a dislocated shoulder. I actually learned kickboxing before I started doing Taijutsu. It was fun when I first did it. But my idiot friend went way too rough and made it hell for me. But I still learned enough out of it enough to make me challenge my cousin to kickboxing matches and either win or lose. Most of the time He beat my ass. But it was fun while it lasted.

Yep, especially when no one respects your authority half of the time. That's a bigger punch in the face. But luckily my cousin, girlfriend, sister, and most of my friends got my back because I got their's.

I've done Muay thai for about 3 years, and stopped since it was too expensive.. I'd love to be an instructor someday.

I think there is a strange correlation between caps and fighting, maybe its the ambition to be the best, and maybe because we tend to try to be an authority figure. I hate violence and I hate stupid and fake people. So best be good at something I want to prevent.
