I'm not a cap but I'm going to comment 😄
I like getting flowers. I'm not someone who likes lots of keepsakes around me so the temporary beauty of flowers suits me well. Makes me smile for a few days.
I do NOT like house plants as gifts. It's like giving someone a pet. I do not want to be responsible for keeping it alive! 😛

Here's the only "flower" women need. Now STFU and get back to the kitchen.

I think it's a waste of money, honestly. I'd probably ravish him if he got me a tree to plant in my yard instead.
Unless they're white roses. I dry them and make arrangements with antique green wine bottles in my house. In that case, there's a practical use for them.

??_??_??_??_.. The gesture is so nice and romantic and I can't help feeling blessed that a man wants to do that for me. But, at the same time, I see between $ 50- $ 100 being wasted because they wilt and die after a few days. I'd much rather him spend money on a gift that I can keep forever or on an experience where I'll have the memory forever.
Why not get both, I send flowers to my cappy 3-4 times a year including today. They get delivered to her office and I also give her Effy diamonds every year.
Today I got her another pair of earrings, and I??ll give them to her when we meet again. She has always thank me for the gift and says she likes them, however I??ve never seen her wear the jewelry that I??ve given her over the years. I wonder why? Can any Capricorn shed some light on this. I??ve never asked her either because once a give a gift the recipient can do whatever they want with it, but I??ve always been curious about this.

Cancer guy gave me a bunch of plastic flowers on our 2nd date. I kept it anyway.

They're probably from the dollar tree store.

Flowers are a complete waste of money --- especially right now when they are marked up 1000% .
I've done it begrudgingly in the past.
Your ex and I have something in common. I am also a plant giver. They keep living (sometimes). I always give my grandmother a nice houseplant on her birthday and at Christmas.

How about giving you plants?
My cap mom told me she doesn't want flowers but plants.

I have mixed feelings on it. As a woman, I love it. The gesture is so nice and romantic and I can't help feeling blessed that a man wants to do that for me. It's funny because my ex husband wanted to be sweet and romantic and would send a flowering houseplant that would keep living (until I inadvertently killed it. lol! I'm horrible with plants). His female co-workers always gave him a hard time about the choice, but he knew me and knew I would like it.
So, guys, do you send flowers?
Girls, how do you feel about receiving them?
Does anyone else feel like it's a waste of money?
