Thinking back on the past few times someone's apologized to me, I just wanted them to STOP and leave well enough alone. Now I'm waiting to see if they're really going to change their behavior or if there'll be repeat acts but while I'm still guarded, I can accept if they just aren't worth keeping in my life without holding a grudge.
On the other hand, I hate it when an apology is used to wipe off someone's conscience and wipe off responsiblity. Then I would've preferred if they'd kept from putting on a mask and just gone off and done their thing. Whatever, as long as I don't have to suffer their drama.

Don't apologize... pretend like nothing happened or better yet blame it on him. 🙂 They know everything and they sense everything so what's the point in discussing anything? Don't be weak.

Nah, we are fucked up and hurt but the planning still continues. It just can't go nowhere.
The moment the weather eases up a little bit we gain traction and send out all of our plans.
We just use plan #4,13 and 25 out of the 52 that have been raging at the time.
Then we can say "We had it all planned out" 😛

Definitely the second option "an apology with a reasoning as to why certain things were said and an explanation". We like to know why you did it and that you care enough to feel bad about it and to say sorry. There's never a guarantee you'll be forgiven of course but, it's more than likely that we'll hear you out to decide if it's reasonable to fix things. Hopefully you didn't screw things up too bad lol
