How to handle this situation with Cappy?

Brief: 4 years ago had a fwb relationship with Cappy for a month. Fast forward, he's looked me up again and we've been out a couple of times. No sex this time around.

Yesterday, He texts me to ask me to join him and his sister out to dinner (they are really close and live together and fun!!) I take a gf with me and we have the craziest time!! Both he and his sister are full on party people and do the damnedest things!!! So we all had a fantastic and funny night. Towards the end of the night, I'm quite drunk and we end up snogging in the back seat of the car as we are dropping them off to another place before my gf and I head home at 2am. He rings me in the morning to see how I am and tells me they just got in an hour ago at 7.00am and there is 4 people in there backyard that they bought back with them!!! He sends me a pic and sure enough there are 4 randoms there!!! LMAO

Anyway, what I want to do is just be friends with him. I really enjoy both his sister and his company, we have the best time hanging out with them and that's all I want. I know If we were to sleep together, it will ruin that friendship. I'd rather have 2 friends than one lover.

So, How do I tell him? I think he wants more...not sure if he wants a full on relationship but he definitely wants sex. Can I tell it to him straight? Or should I speak to the sister and ask her opinion?

tell him straight up because from what I been told cappy's like it when your straight forward they already have in mind how they truly feel

If u tell him direct, u will know right away I think. If he can't handle just being friends he might just walk away and try to forget he never met u, if he is really interested in u and have given up all hope of getting u as a gf. If u don't mean that much to him even though it sounds funny, he might stay as ur friend.

Treat him as a friend. I wouldn't say anything unless he does. If and when he does mention wanting more, just tell him you are not interested in that with him but value the friendship.

Does anyone see any wrong if I talk with his sister? I'm thinking that I could ask her where his head is at and that way I'll know how to tread... I know clearly where the little heads at.

I think he likes me as a friend too but thinks we can have more now. The first time around 4 years ago I told him point blank that I was looking for a relationship with someone that had their own place and I had mine, I told him I wouldn't live with a guy again. It's not what he was looking for so he found someone that was after a living arrangement. Now after all this time I tell him that I had a bf and he and I lived together for a year before we split.. Now I know after this I should have stuck to my original plans and keep my independence...

I'd like to tackle this before we make a mistake, I mean, we are always drinking and partying and it can happen too easily! BUT most importantly I don't want to loose these new found friends!!

No no no no no don't ask his sister. That's the same as playing a game of telephone and words tend to get altered whether for good or for bad. It just complicates everything and makes the whole situation a bigger deal than it actually is.

It's easier and more simple to just talk to him point blank. It's an issue between you and him. You can handle this.

A man dealing with everyone trying to compute them to get some useful contacts/freinds/gals and feeling happy while joking because he knows that a life has a lot of not so happy sides and it's sometimes a time to rest.

Not a lot of guys let their hair down and party up like this...in female company anyway. He bounces off his sister, but yes, he's been through so much shit that it's great to see him enjoy. His latest tattoo, Happy Days and he really is finally getting some!

As for housekeeping, I never know which direction you're coming from...you make as much sense as Bling...so unless you care to explain I'll let you comments go overhead...

No don't talk to the sister and go with the flow and hang out. Next time something sexual comes up (pun intended! lol!), then tell him you just want to be friends and you enjoy his company. Tell him you respect him and think he's great, but you just want to take things in that direction. Be honest. Be sincere. and Be sweet.

Problem is, he waits until I've had a few to make a move and my guards are low!

He's still checking in via text every other day...don't think he knows quite how to approach me, can be a bit standoffish at times. He wants to go out again his last text said but I didn't reply...it wasn't a question but a suggestion as in, 'we should go out again soon"

At the next chance I will just tell him that I value his friendship more and don't want to ruin it...

Yes, this is my predicament. When he invites me out it's normally a dinner and drinks. It might have to be done on text yet...but that won't go down well either...or except a date and just blurt it out. If we hang in a group next time...that's not the best time either but I'm going to do it. Perhaps, I'll suggest something along the lines of if he meets someone or she's hot you should go talk to her..
