What did I get myself into

Oh boy I wish somebody would've told me years ago how alluring a Capricorn man can be.

Here's some background...

Met a Cap (clearly I'm a Taurus) and the connection we had was outstanding when we first met. Common interest, such a motivator to me and all aspirations, telling me bits and pieces of himself but never too much upon our first meeting. He's going off to school in another state by next year and told me he's just "chillin"

Meanwhile after a few times of texting and talking we had sex definitely wasn't planned for both of us even he said it....but it wasn't just sex it was more like this is the first guy I've ever been intimate with and he totally took his time and never made me feel uncomfortable. Now you're thinking I'm completely hooked on him? Uh no. I actually really enjoy his company as a friend. We've done it a few times after & I honestly thought he'd stop talking to me but he didn't. Still texted consistently, telling me have a great day, letting me know he sees a bright future for me. He's just so positive I've noticed the more I hang out with him the more he opens up about his family.

One time I went out to a bar to dance with friends and I told him where I was going...and this guy just showed up with his friends which I was completely caught off guard.



I told him I like him and he said the same thing back to me. He tells me it's something about me he can't figure out which I don't get...and whenever I touch his knee or rub his back especially his back he tells me I give him chills and he has to get up! lol

Now this is where I need advice....

It's been about 2 weeks since we've texted. He's told me once before how busy he can be and told me he will try to say hi or text me ever so often. He's also very independent he told me. We do a back and forth thing of who text first and I was the last person to respond. But I guess my question is.....Am I dumb for even liking this guy? I know he's not looking for anything which is why I'm not sprung so I guess I wanna know if this no texting for a few weeks thing is normal Cap behavior.

2 weeks is a long time for anyone. If he's just chilling and doesn't want anything serious, believe that.

You are not dumb for liking him.....but if he is not making the move towards sth more, dont expect much.

you both enjoyed the moment which was genuine, but I guess it was just for a moment, you like him, he likes you, nothing wrong with that

but sometimes you come together with who you like for a little bit, with others for a little bit longer and that's the only difference.

just feel if it's not for the better, if you have to be guessing to be sure

Thanks for the advice guys! I always keep it light with him and of course keep myself busy bc I have a life and job! But I did text him and he said the exact same thing wondering why I never texted him claiming he was waiting on me to make the move...

No phone, tv, just music and a good conversation...Although we do like each other it is however hard at times because I care about him not to be mistaken for falling in love or wanting a relationship bc I don't have the time either...but he opens up to me each time we're together and all I want to do is just love him!

I got such a warm, lovely feeling from your description of moments with him 🙂 this can be tricky when guys never start the topic about wanting relationship but are being vulnerable and open at the same time! it's not like they share this side with everyone... just be cautious not to delve too deep & enjoy your moments! 😉

I appreciated everyone's help and words but yours was the one that I really took to heart 🙂 I agree it is super tricky bc I doubt he's like this with everyone! But you're right I'm going to be catious as always and enjoy the moments together. I just hate knowing it'll come to an end. I just wonder what his purpose is in my life right now like you said sometimes you come together with who you like for a little bit, and with others for a little bit longer

hahaha yeah nobody has time for relationships! It's funny bc we both go to the same school, are graduating at the same time, and working. So that alone is a hard task! We're both too focused!

But, I just watched on facebook a Cap male propose to a Taurus female. They are both my sisters friends, and it was the sweetest thing. Aww. I don't see many of this pair, but that proposal was sweet and you could tell they love eachother.
