What Do We Think Our Worst Cappy Trait Is

For all us cappys

I have been told more than once that im as
"Stubborn As A Muel"
But thats only because i always know what im talking about and dont see why I should back down (when im right) just to please someone.
So i suppose for me, its Stubbornness:

But that doesnt mean im not humble enough to acknowledge that there are other opinions as well as mine.
Im a very good listener, and if asked, im happy to give good advice.
It just really F***S me off when its not taken!!

A Cappy friend of mine gave me a list of things about Cap males and I'm curious to know if you guys feel this way... Ladies can chime in too.

1)? "We don't always say what we mean AND we don't always do what we mean/intend to do, but although we may not always be safe, we do and intend at all times to be and do good."??

2)? "We seek perfection because we find ourselves to be the most imperfect of beings that there are in existence!"

3) "We are our own critic, we don't need the criticism of others, or so we think."

i think capricorns worry too much. my friends complain about this and of course it's mostly work related. i don't wish for a second that i wasn't an obsessive workaholic.

GEM:

1) i have no idea what this means...i do know that as a cap i can tend to come up with the most obscene versions of logic and therefore stick to my guns with any course of action as long as it is well thought out. still, this makes no sense, and maybe that's what he meant?

2) yes. hence the mountain climbing sea goat. so many contradictions.

3) hmm...another contradiction. compliments and critique are taken into consideration, but at the end of the day, no one can be harder on ourselves than us.

Caps dont always say what they mean. I concur

I love Caps, no complaints from me. Even the stubborn thing is a love/hate situation. They say the thing you love someone for will be the same thing that makes you hate them. My Cap is SOOO stubborn, and it's fine with me until it's towards me. Then I want to pull my hair out lol. But I never get mad at him, because even when he doesn't want to be stubborn, he just can't help it. I just get annoyed with not being able to move past something until he's ready. I admire this sign the most though. Just wish you'd let people in when you get in your gloomy moods. You don't have to handle the world alone you know! Lol.

Lol yeah, my Cap isn't a talker, so anything he says is well thought out and exactly what he wanted to say lol.

because telling the truth isnt always wise. but again, capricorns are the only ones who bullshit people, so shame on us. but some occasions allow truth.

I think the worst trait would probably be remembering the past and letting it get to us now... so regret and being sort of grudgenly at times especially when we're alone.

Oh.. and I didn't see that before, but I agree 200% with Genome. This is the case for me with almost every relationship i've been in. I envy the signs of the other people i've dated and every other sign of the zodiac because I don't know many other people with this trait. Other people could care less than less and your still left caring, I'm trying to train myself out of this. This adds to my list of traits that sometimes inhibits me as a cap from getting involved in relationships and trusting people because as a capricorn I secretly care so much and so purely about anyody and the few and far between people that I get involved with that I'm afraid that they don't truely care about like they say they do and that they don't appreciate how much I care.

No, I agree with Genome and Capbabe87. Very few people really know the depth of a Capricorn heart. The way they feel is frustrating for most because they dont understand, but its survival for them.

more like we know people are highly unreliable, and that lies are easy to tell. people spend entire lives in lies. where men come home kiss children on the forehead who aren't their own, but the father doesnt know. women going to bed with a guy who's dipstick has been in every sizable hole that will accept it. and most of all, people who say one thing and show signs of another. they will preach like a baptist preacher bucking for that social security check from his congregation, but damn sure acts funny and not of the lord.

eh, for the most part we learn that love isn't like its shown in the movies. and i guess knowing what lurks in the dark can seem more like the person is afraid of it. and yes, some are. most of the time though, we know people suck, and finding someone who doesnt suck is very difficult. even then, they may not be right.

the worst part is, those that do suck can go for many years pretending to be good. one day, sitting on a rocking chair, soaking your dentures, you look out and see your boy playing with his youngsters, and think, gee whiz he sure looks like my buddy bill. suddenly, you know you've been had, and the bitch sitting next to you deserves a bullet 30 yrs too damn late.

This is so true.. I have made all efforts to stop this because I've been a victum of it many times...too many times.

my worst trait is how moody i can be...sometimes it makes myself sick so I know it bothers other people. ONe minute i want to have company and then when they show up i'm thinking "what have I gotten myself into" and i just want them to leave so I can read a book and relax in the tub in peace and quiet. This is the same in Love. I haven't found anyone yet who I really love spending my time with ALL the time. I'm one way one minute then another way the next minute. I decided I want to go out with friends then when I get out the house i just want to go back home. One minute I'm happy being single then I'm lonely, one minute I'm ready to conquor the world and then the next i'm feeling like i have the world on my shoulders. It's frustraiting......

Right now, I think it's my inability to express feelings...ppl automatically think I'm cold and don't care for their feelings...

ghettobooty: Caps will only reveal their feelings if they are aware of it AND if they have a pretty good indication that they won't get rejected upon doing so. So, either your cap is terribly confused and that's why he spills a lot when drunk or he is in fear of rejection. You can't really do nothing incase of the former, but giving him subtle hints of your interest will take care of the latter.

I think they do feel deeply, which is why when things fall apart they don't give up so easily. My Cap was going back and forth with his Libra ex for so long, and I just watched as Facebook relationship statuses changed like every other day. Then finally he got fed up and washed his hands of her when he realized she was all bad for him. But for the longest time, I could not understand why he was still dealing with her. He tolerated so much and would just shake his head at some of her antics. It was like a father and a temper-tantrum throwing child in the middle of the grocery store. He loved her, so he tolerated it. Had he not felt deeply, I'm sure he wouldn't have done the yo-yo relationship for so long. It seemed like he really wanted things to work and kept giving them a million chances when it just wasn't meant to be.

I like everything about caps except they aren't like us, which is y I dislike them.

but if I have to say something, it is:
fear of failure
not taking risks
perfectionism
over-compliant to authority
making life like hell for people who do not work as hard as them
believe they are always right
obstinate support of the status quo even when it doesn't make sense

Inside, a capricorn is every bit as warm, emotional, caring and kind as much as the next sign, in fact, probably more than most.
But, we DO have that exterior, and its hard to explain.
We are like Two People:
The person we want you to see, The mask we automatically put on, without even thinking about it
And the person we really are, and in most cases those two people are NOT the same.
Like many cappies, ive been told more than once that i give the impression of being a "Tough Cookie, Cold, Hard, Unemotional"
But behind that "Percieved" image, you couldnt find a more caring person.
We just dont trust easily and wont take that mask off until we are sure of the other person, kind of like, we wanna get it right FIRST TIME and not make mistakes.

Thats the best way i can think of putting it.

What's up with Caps and air signs, seriously.

I think its an attraction to what they wish they could be. My Cap has told me before that he wished he could be as spontaneous and random as me, but he can't lol. Also, he says I catch him off guard, "pleasantly". I think they like the unpredictability of Air signs, although they're supposed to be the predictable, tried and true types. I know I'm attracted to him because he brings out another side of me, while still stimulating my Gemini mentality. He thinks my indecisiveness is funny; and, at times, tiring.

It doesn't really help that I'm with a Leo male because we're both stubborn so you can just imagine how the arguements go. They have a had time understanding Capricorns too. But I can't help it... I love him. LOL

2. i don't see myself as perfect or imperfect. i'm my own person with faults like everyone else.

perfectly said and when they are it only makes us deep think of ways to change what that person's opinion was in order to prove them wrong, that is why people say we are showoffs and flashy becaus we are eager to be able to master something even relationships that s why caps dont marry until later on in life its a process to be able to fully trust and there;s so many wrong people out there wh take advantage of caps nice nature

I can imagine this because I went through 4 years of it with my kids father ...he would not see truth in anything i would say or change somethin i didnt like that was bein done in order to save our relationship, now that we arent together he sees alot of the things i said so now he really wants to work at it again to show me he's change and will do right, but I understand that we both are stubborn so it will only be fustrating because I won't budge because he wouldnt. So I understand when you argue with a leo they can get (what we feel like is childish) not seein the bigger picture, blow up ove what we think is not us bein neg but tryin to fix something for the better, then we become unsatisfied which makes the relationship split down the road..

i have a lot of things about myself that i'd like to change, but more than anything i wish people would just take the time to know and understand Capricorns, not generalize and shit all over them.

i couldn't agree more babe. I cannot care less, I don't know how to give half of me. It's either all, or nothing. And im struggling with this in my current relationship...it's like I sometimes have to remind myself to hold back, or I'll get disappointed...and I hate it, coz my bf is very intutitive...and whenever I pull away, he ends up feeling the effect of it, and he ends up feeling like he did something wrong. The greatest thing standing in my way is my fear of being rejected/ taken advantage of when I show pple my caring side. What if they take advantage of me? What if they begin playing me for a fool? What if they feel I'm being too clingy? It never ends.

I have a Cap sister.
The Good: Composed, classy, attracts rich/powerful men, excellent taste in decor and clothing. never tacky
The Bad: because they act so strong, they attract leeches that want a piece of their strength. At worst, they're taken advantage of mentally and emotionally , financially, until they wake up

Ah, yes, we can be VERY giving!

That's actually a plus, but to our detriment at times...

Depends from cappy to cappy, mine is negativity. But usually caps are found too cold by others.
