IS THERE A GUY OUT THERE GOOD ENOUGH TO DATE THE CAPRICORN WOMAN? Come Forth, Show himself, laughs! Ok today a friend made a crack and said " Is the Capricorn Woman Compatible with Any man of the Zodiac? It's like she's not a perfect match with any of the signs". I laughed at her until she directed me to this article that actually took a poll on thjis very question. So let's get some perspective from my fellow DXP'ers on this. I'm a Capricorn woman and lately I am beginning to rethink this thing in the area of dating. Maybe I am being pessimistic.

I think I can handle you. I have a pole you can study (laughs). My folks get along great. Pops knows how to let Mom have her way without letting her run over him. They're both Caps [12-26 & 01-06]. I think Caps are super-couples if they both put the pride aside. We have so much to admire about you that its like having every spectrum of what we want in a woman. Only cultured/evolved Caps should attempt this at home.

Thanks nastee lil boy, smirks @Pole/weiner crack. It's interesting both of your parents are Caps and they have a Cap son. That was an interesting home I am sure. I like the idea that you said your dad knows how to let your mom have her way without running over him. I dated a Cap man but he was too controlling. I think he saw me as a younger daughter. His bday was 1-6 Mine is 12-27. Pride is something I think the average Cap has to work on.

I say it depends on the woman not the sign. Generally speaking the Cap woman has a narrow perception what she finds attractive. It is actually hard to land a cappy woman if you do not fit into her perception of the perfect mate.

I think as soon as the Cap woman relaxes her expecations (a bit) than she should have no problem finding happiness with some one. That is my two cents and I am sure other people may disagree with me.

hmmm....I'm rethinking this whole dating thing myself. I mean, seriously, it's like pointless to even try now....

Also, another thing I want to add is that there seems to not enough Cap women to go around. There seems to be more Cap males than females in society. Every where I go there's an abundance of Gemini, Pisces, Leo, Taurus, Aries, Scorp and Aquarius women but rarely any Cap women. I grew up with mainly water & earth signs & I think I only know about 2 Cap females versus a dozen Cap males. This could be one of the reasons why most people don't enquire about Cap women; there's just not that many around...

About Cap/Cap couples. Well, Cap Mel Gibson's latest squeeze is (IIRC) also a Cap (1st Jan 1970, I think).

As for us relaxing our standards a bit- I have been told this from a couple of friends but what may not be clear is that the Capricorn woman isn't going to be happy settling for anything less than what she feels will make her happy. I read that she may kiss many frogs but will eventually land her prince. I believe this too. It kinda reminds me of the fable where the girl sits under the tree and takes a bite out of several apples and they all seem to taste funny or some were rotten , some had worms in them-and she takes a bite out of the last apple and it was right.

hmmm...standards standards....that's waht I get all the time...that I've high ones. I do and don't agree on this one. Yes, we have standards just like everyone else. They are not "high" per se. Like princess said above, why should we settle for something less that's not going to make us happy? And yes, like ume said, we search for someone that will "fit" our standards and that's a good sign, no? It tells you guys that we know what we want (most of the times atleast). We like challenges. We like to chase. And this is despite the fact that we don't like taking risks. I don't think we ask for too much....sorry, that was so incoherent....I'll write more once my tea kicks in....

Uhh Definitely not a Sagittarius! Those Cassanova's are too busy chasing their freedom and flirting to be in a relationship. Aquarius is only a good friend nothing else.

I am MORE Convinced TODAY that we might just be by ourselves, lol. I kinda sabatoged something to see how a person would react and if they cared and it backfired. There goes that Capricorn thing we do to test a person's loyalty to see if they "fit the bill" so to speak. Has anyone else ever done this? They are plenty guys out there, good enough for cap women but I think that capricorn women have a defense mechanism that seems to be more effective at keeping what they seek the most away. They say capricorns get better with age and I think it's due to the fact that with age they tone their defense mechanism notches down, realizing that most of what they'd kept hidden is to be exploited and not protected. It's beauty and not uglyness. Strength and not weakness.
