Why do capricorn men suddenly disappear ?

There is that capricorn man that I've known for quite some time and he finally asked me out, but before we could even meet, he stopped talking to me , ignored my emails and texts where I asked him what happened and I really don't get it. Last time we talked, everything was great between us.
I understood that this is what sometimes capricorn men do, that they need to back off, have their time alone and think or w/e , but it's been more than a week since this happened.
I would really appreciate some insight on this!
Why can't he just say "it's over/ forget me " ..anything..but not just disappear like a coward ?
And do they ever come back ?

I'm not a Cap, but I read from a Cap that the younger ones can disappear because they don't like conflict, and would rather not tell you in person. Or tell you at all, if there isn't much invested in you yet to have to do so. I had a Sun disappear with no word who I didn't know very well yet. And I had a Moon break up over text... this after he'd been hinting marriage for weeks. It is cowardly, yes. But some of the older Caps can be pretty brave, too. And honest. And sweet.

Well, all of our signs have got 'something' not particularly wonderful going on before we've grown into ourselves, and such. 😉

You haven't had a date with him so I wouldn't put a second thought into it. Obviously, it has nothing to do with you since he doesn't even know you. You haven't done anything wrong. Shrug it off and move on.

Thank you all! You are right, I will move on and obviously, I won't contact him at all.
I just wish he would have been open with me and tell me.
I had a similar thing happen with a Scorpio man and he came back after I stopped caring, but it was too late.
I lose respect and trust after they do stuff like this.

That's fair.

Just keep in mind that from a capricorn perspective that if we haven't met and don't have an exclusive relationship, thus no accountability and no emotional investment, then no explanation is required. Same on your end. Its like the 90 day probationary period at a new job. Either can terminate with no questions asked and no hard feelings. It may not be right, but thats kind of how a lot of us look at it.
