Looking around at my work station. I have stacks of paper with everything within reach that I need to be efficient. My co-worker over there has hardly any kind of mess at all on her desk. I'd like to consider that I am organized chaos because to the passerby it probably looks like a mess, but, in all actuality, it is all very organized. I know where everything is and can grab it in a second.
Just wondering if this is a cap thing or a truecap thing?

I say people with enough time to keep their workspace clean need more work to occupy their time.

I start my day with a clean desk and keeps it that way for the wholeday of work. And leaves it clean too. Just learn how to prioritize and organize files and tasks effectively, I think you can keep it clean

my desk is currently a wreck and it's been stressing me out all week.
do i know where everything is? ...oddly, yes. there is no apparent method to this madness, which makes me mad. my brain works in mysterious ways.
funny you should start this thread today, truecap, but i decided this morning to move my work area to my spare "art room" and make that whole room a general "creepypants" work room. doing this tonight before I go completely bananas.
In less than a year, I'll have a system that will be working *for* me.

My desk is definitely an organized mess. People that walk by don't understand my logic but if they need something I know exactly where it is on my desk...lol
