Can you predict the future from dreams?

On Friday night I had a unnerving dream about being in my home and thugs were hiding in cupboards and beating everyone up. We were hiding and so scared, then I woke up. I normally stay under the covers until I fall back to sleep, but it was such a vivid dream I got up and checked my small flat was empty, I opened cupboards and even looked behind doors.

The Tuesday night after, I had a dream that I was pregnant and giving birth to a baby boy, again the dream was so vivid, I felt odd all morning as though I did have a newborn baby (I don't have children). I could still give you play-by-plays of both dreams, even though it is almost a week later.

That day, we got message that one of our colleagues family members had a baby boy in the early hours of that morning.
When I got home that evening, my partner told me that his niece's ex partner had broken into her flat, hid in the loft and waited before attacking her in a horrific way. This happened on the Sunday, and I had the dream two days before.

I have felt on edge ever since, and both dreams have been on my mind. I am not one to believe in psychics etc, but I am not closed minded.
Would appreciate any advice, or opinions.
Something similar happened to me as well recently. One night I had an odd dream of having some stranger as a mother figure of mine passing away... and then the next day my mom informed me that a second cousin of hers passed away. She was a wonderful mother who lived alone with her autistic daughter (who is such a sweet person herself), it really broke me. I also foresaw the swine flu pandemic tbh but that's from wall shadows, let's not go there lol.
