I had about a year ago, a nightmare in which I was home and saw my front door wide open with a creepy guy staring at me evilish but didn't try to come in, I got scared and I closed the door immediately but he was stil there, then I minded my own business and when I passed by my door, it was again wide open with him starring at me, and this situation repeated a few times until I woke up.
The thing is, yesterday when I went out of my house (I live in a 10 stories block btw) I went down with the elevator, and when I pushed the door, there was a creepy guy in the door, never seen him before and he looked at me with some evil expresion, i could sense it, I got a bit scared, I said hi but he didn't response in any way. I went faster to get out and by the time I arrived at the door, I didn't hear the elevator door closing, so I looked back and he was standing there, with the door wide open starring at me. I got so scared I started running like a lion was chasing me.
I didn't knew at that moment why I was so terrified by him but then I remembered the nightmare and realised he had the same face expresion at the one in the dream. Now I'm very paranoid when I get out of the house and look 5 times before like I would have OCD.
What do you think? My mom said that maybe he was waiting for someone and my boyfriend said that he was an energetic vampire. I don't know for sure but I felt something very wrong about him.

I suggest you stay alert.
I had just moved into a new apartment and dreamed a young male was standing in the stairwell of my bedroom, it was an intrusive feeling but no danger.
Literally the next day whilst at work someone broke into my home through a window.
Convoluted story but the young male was involved.
Perhaps I had seen him scoping the place or the street out and subconsciously read his intent without remembering outwardly and coincidentally had the dream before he did the deed, who knows.
Either way don't dramatize it too much, but simply keep your eyes open...

wow..I'm sorry for what happened, I will keep my eyes open, at least in my apartment I'm safe because I stay at the ninth floor and have a metallic door.
and did they catch him?
