When a person have recurring dreams of 1st love for 12 years, does it mean there are something the universe trying to tell the dreamer?

You thinking about him so...you dreaming about him.
That is all in it nothing surprising.

I never think of him but he suddenly just pop-up in the dream. I wonder is there anyway to stop the recurring dreams...

I wasn't thinking about the ex that came into my dreams for 15+ years

It was my sub conscious mind asking me to look at deeper issues

Dreams are reflection of the past.
It is there in your past. So it is coming up suddenly.
It means nothing. You can think of the person 24/7
and have none of him in your dreams.
I had lost my father at 12. At 49 I can say he came into
my dreams maybe twice.
I've heard deceased don't bother you when they are pleased with you.
With living - it is just that - random appearances.

Though just to be on a safe side I am always asking family
members to tell each other bad dreams as soon as they wake up.
Because in my opinion if someone dying in your dream and you
tell - it would be impossible for this to happen because
someone already told about it so Universe would be like...embarrassed to
make it happen because someone knew! LOL

So from time first when you saw him - there you go. You even made this post.

I dream about my ex from college . Mostly I would see forcing myself into him, or he gets kidnapped by people while m talking to him, or I go to his place and never find him there. Its weird cause I hardly think about him he just pops in my dreams.

It's the opposite. When you dream of THEM, they are the ones that were thinking about you and they came in your dreams. It normally means they miss you, they are having problems in their current relationship (worse if they are married), they are kicking themselves on their ass knowing that they did you wrong; and you were the BEST thing that ever came into their lives and they messed up by letting you go!

They hear your name mentioned (mine is heard in movies, sitcoms, tv shows, etc) and boom! They remember you and they start thinking about you. Mind you, they are comparing you to their SO and they miss you as hell!!!! 😄

What was the relationship like and how did it end? I had dreams of my ex over and over for a few years but there was unresolved issues and closure I never got. In my case, I don't think it was a warning to not get involved with someone else like him again, seeing that he was a wonderful man and I would give things another try in a heartbeat but what's the nature of the dreams? What were the feelings you experienced in the dream and after? Perhaps there is some unresolved issues for you especially if there was a strong emotional attachment. I dreamt about my ex right before he reached out to me.

Yeah, that's what I think too. There must have been unresolved issues. I dreamed of an ex love outta nowhere a couple of months ago and had to check to see if he was okay. Things like this make you wonder.
