Daydreamer: I think YOUR snakes indicate a trouble or troubles you are having, that are being nurtured by an outside force. The troubles aren't really bad enough to hurt you but they are bothersome and growing. There may be something you need to tend to and you have procrastinated.
angleface: yours is more of a decision you should be making like stop or go. Should you or shouldn't you?
Oh yeah there was a time when I kept dreaming of tarantulas... ewww some were huge but the one I recall most clearly was one that I thought might grow so I had to find it and kill it. Found it under my bed I think... long time ago I think I woke up then.
I get a lot of snake nightmares too. In fact most of my nightmares involve snakes or some kind of reptile/amphibian/big predatory fish. Mostly I have the type where the snakes are falling on me--off of tree branches, my ceiling, wherever I happen to be standing, or they're all over the ground. But then sometimes I get ones where I'm just surrounded by great big giant ones or I find tiny little ones in my bed.
If you weren't bitten then that's a good sign. But it's pretty straight forwards, predators are surrounding you but haven't struck.
