For my liquid make-up I use Clinique super balanced, and their pressed powder. I haven't been able to find a black eyeliner that stays on all day and doesn't run or smudge. I've even tried using black liner and going over it with black eyeshadow. I will try the primer, and oil blotting sheets those are great suggestions.

I personally like a thicker foundation, that provides better coverage. So I use a thin layer M.A.C. Studio finish to even everything out.

It gives me a great matte finish that last with the primer for me. Now I don't have oily skin but I imagine a dryer formula like that would work better than the Clinique... Because I don't like to use a powered, I've noticed that the clinique don't really set well, so it tends to feel more slippery all day. Which could be the cause of your missing makeup in the middle of the day.

Many brands break me out, I found out. My skin is sensitive. I can't use that Bare Minerals stuff.

I can't use Bare Minerals either, bought and used all the right products for my skin for about a month, and it fucked my face up. It just dried my skin out so bad, irritating my skin till it looked like I had some kind of rash. Not cute!

Kinda pissed I wasted so much money.

I use Clinique 'even better' foundation and I switched to the loose powder a few years ago-- it's a translucent (3)-- and what a difference.

Also, I use a brush for the foundation and another for the powder.

I don't wear eyeliner much, but have you tried putting liquid over the pencil?

That works for me.

Try using Maybelline's liquid eye liner. It tends to stay on pretty well 🙂

I've been using this technique I learned from a make up guru on youtube and my make up last ALL day. And I use the cheap drugstore brand. I blot my foundation similar to the way I'd blot my lipstick. It removes all the oil but keeps the pigment. So what I do is:
1) moisturize
2) put on on layer of foundation
3) use a fluffy foundation brush and brush in circular motion to blend the foundation
4) then I use a kleenex and blot as much of the grease off as possible

Depending on how clear my face is I may put on 2 or more layers repeating steps 2-4 and blot and then light powder after wards. My make up is on all day after that.

Your right zero theres nothing worse than your face sliding off due to oily skin and there is nothing more better than liquid liner you can even get felt ones these days and its like using a sharpie on your face.

In regards to pasta sauces's comment ^^ I was always taught to apply foundation with fingers because it warms the foundation up and it spreads easier and then you blend it out with a brush but the best part about makeup is finding out your own rituals and I like the idea of cold foundation snapping those bags into place lol

Best eyeliner is arabic kohl authentic in dust, you can put it with a small brush cut and is good for your eyes and maybe your moisturizer is too oily, try spraying your face with thermal water but I use a little hairspray but i dont make up every day.
If you have good skin and want to keep changing makeup cream for only a pre-base or a moisturizer with a little color and a little dust, no need any more.
