I agree about the snail and the pushing up when moisturizing.
I've also read the typical asian womans skincare routine goes something like this (and have you seen their skin? I think it's worth following):

-Double cleanse: Cleanse first with cleansing oil (I know an oil sounds scary but I have tried this routine and never gone back. My face has never been cleaner. Only oils can break down the oil that your skin produces), it gets rid of all dirt and impurities. It even takes off sunscreen and foundation like magic. Then go over again with your basic cleanser.

-Toner

-Essence. This is basically a concentrated treatment for whatever skin issues you have. For example moisturizing or brightening essences will give your skin extra oomph

-Serum. A higher concentrate than essence. Typically essence and serum are layered over each other.

- Emulsion. This is a light water based moisturizer. You can use it on its own, but a lot of people also layer this under their night cream for extra moisturization.

- Night cream.

This may sound like a lot but it works. I'm a very lazy person and sometimes just cleanse and put a daytime lotion, but sometimes when I go all out and do all these extra steps, I wake up with really soft, moisturized, brighter looking skin.

I always take my makeup off with either sweet almond oil or olive oil, then I use my regular cleaner. Works like a charm.

I'm always looking at natural anti aging secrets! Do y'all know any that you'd like to share?

1. Melatonin and GABA at night on empty stomach before bed. 8 hours of sleep from 10pm-6am for thorough body detox and renewal. Supplements as DHEA, Vit C, D3 and E, Tumeric, Holy basil, Resveratrol, Iodine (thyroid health), Chlorella (detox), Krill Oil, Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium.

2. Working out INTENSELY 4 times week. Doing low intensity cardio is a waste. However, if you lift heavy weights (80% ) of your max, for IE: 10 reps for 3 sets for upper body muscle groups and then do intense cardio for lower body (Eliptical PEAK 8 exercise, which is high intensity for 20 seconds at high grade and high resistance, then low intensity for 30 seconds and repeat up until 8 times).

Research proves that by doing high intense cardio and weight training, not only does your body burn calories, but for the next few days, this type of workout continues to burn calories and increase your metabolism.

Also weight training with heavy weights as hard as you can (without getting injured of course), increases your HGH (human growth hormone factor). HGH IS the GOLD STANDARD for anti aging.

I follow this workout and just turned 50. People always think i'm in my middle 30's.

4. DIET....is huge. about 60% of your body is about your diet. If you are serious about looking and feeling better and can only do ONE change in our diet, this is it. STOP CONSUMING REFINED SUGAR. That's it.

REFINED SUGAR is poison to your body. And the FDA knew about it when it was introduced years ago. Stay away from refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup, asperatame (VERY TOXIC to your body, google dangers of), any type of artificial sweetner, period.

DO NOT DRINK DIET POP/SODA. they will make you GAIN weight as many artificial sweetners are many times sweeter than pure cane sugar.

When I grew up in the seventies, we drank REAL Coke with REAL cane sugar. The gum we chewed had REAL cane sugar. Breads did NOT contain high fructose corn syrup. WE didn't have an obesity problem. Now we do. ID'ing the link isn't difficult.

5. CUT back and/or STOP EATING WHEAT all together. ALL bread and pasta's are carbs and break down into sugar. If you don't burn this right away as an energy source, it will be stored as FAT. EAT MORE PROTEIN (lean meats/eggs).

What age more is suffering and stress. I smoke, drink and still look younger than any woman my age I know.
It is also important not to worry about "aging" , laughter and good sex rejuvenate , find and tell you that you've never told releases energy blockages, is miraculous.
In terms of care , eat well , drink juices, water, my skin just massages and massages with natural oils, argan, coconut, olive...If you massage collagen is produced and wrinkles are reduced, if they are small even disappear.
Use natural soaps and shampoo nothing, in the body and head only ghassoul clay and recientmente I tried henna that has me red hair like when I was a kid.

I also read the way in which a person sleeps can influence wrinkles on the face. Like, a side sleeper might get lines on the side they sleep on. It's advised supposedly to sleep on your back, not on face or side.
I've heard using silk shams instead of the standard cotton pillowcases can reduce the development of wrinkles. Not sure how true it is, but they definitely feel a lot nicer.

I used to do facial exercies, but I feel it may have made things worse somehow haha.

Anyway:

Topical:
Retinol
Hyaluronic Acid (with Collagen)
Vitamin C Serum
Ferulic/Lactic/Mandelic Acid Masks (Makeup Artist Choice makes some great, inexpensive ones)

Diet:
Tons of water
Eat lots of colors (berries, dark leafy greens, beets)
I eat no dairy or wheat, try to eat less soy and meat and of course less sugar
Warm Lemon water with tumeric every morning to help get digestion started

How you age depends upon your genetics. Creams and such will only do so much. It's not going to give you a miracle.
amen.

it'll help from drying your skin (the creams and stuff)

especially during winter days and nights, it gets really dry around heaters on the entire evening.

but a lot of women get surgery all the time, even in their 20s.

I get glycolic face peels once a year, although haven't been able to afford one since 2014 or 2013. My face is dying 😢 I moisturize my face and body with pure vegetable glycerin or Jamaican black castor oil. Not too much so it's sticky. I have very dry and acne prone skin and these work well with my skin.

GREAT SO THEY ARE INDEED KILLING US SLOWLY...Yet I cannot stop consuming most of the stuff you mentioned. I don't like diet anything. I do workout with weights. I don't know if it's good to take melatonin every night. The magnesium would create the same effect in a better way.
