Approaching Gemini Females

Having had some experiences with Gemini females, I realised I never took the time to understand Gemini females. I just usually let it be.
But having added a new Female Gem, June 3rd, 1989 to my Blackberry Messenger and speaking to her regularly it got me to thinking of my previous experiences.
I find in approaching them, it's easy. They are naturally friendly, but taking it from there always lead me to a deadlock or wall...
I went to the mall with one and we had good conversation but I never get the impression from Gemini females they are interested, or if I do, it is very brief..
Similarly, I went to meet one in the local university, got a hug, spoke well but she just became silent and receptive after a while. Now, I am not a conversation leader, I am a listener too, so again... it was like a wall.
I don't know how to approach Gemini females nor do I understand the signs that tell me, they are interested. Anyone care to help enlighten this clueless Virgo?

for me, i like to have at least a few common interests with the other. that way, while getting to know each other the talk doesn't go dull and/or boring. i also like to learn from others. it's always nice to get the others point of view on that common subject. as long as i'm learning... i'm good. lol!

As long as you dont stop talking you should be oksubject is irrelevant, gem girls find it as fascinating to talk about the mosquito that flew past your nose as much as about.. geography
well you get the idea, the key is to loosen up and not take any dates/interactions with them like a formal date (if they smell you're after anything serious right from the beginning, they lose interest fast)
Well I definitely can't get one based on that criteria lol
I also recall somewhere on here, to not emphasise much on their looks. More gear myself towards their mind.
Tricky business.
I am good with similarities and as a lecturer, love teaching people. But the whole never ending chit chat, is so not me lol

It's true that we're easy to approach. You seem to have that down pat.
The thing you have to understand with Gem girls is that since we're naturally friendly and can relate easy with anybody is that everybody starts out on equal footing. Everyone is a potential friend until they give us signs that they're interested in that way. That's when our brain shifts gears and starts to consider and see you in a different light.
If we don't get those signals, conversation goes on simply because we like talking to different kinds of people. You talk. I talk. You don't talk. Maybe I still talk or maybe I don't. If I see that there is nothing to be "negotiated" further, I move on to others I can converse with.
Whenever you hit that wall, it's just a case of two observers observing each other. We kind of have to know what we're dealing with so we know how to position ourselves. She's waiting for more data from you. That's why sometimes the direct but light approach with us works best but you have got to express your interest in a more overt manner (but keep it light at first!! emphasis on this). If she's a gem, she's going to flirt back but you still won't know what it is for sure unless you press on but at least she knows that you're in business.

Oh, and to add a Virgo perspective on this -- remember I was with Virguy? He used to get so pissed whenever I'd talk to other guys and be friendly. For him, he knows that the other guys think I'm interested in them. For me, I was just being pleasant and friendly and, since I was with him, definitely knew I wasn't interested in them. The presumption (with Gems at least) is that they're just chatting me up; they haven't said/done anything to indicate otherwise so it's harmless.
My point being unless you push it up a notch with the Gem, you'll never know why she's talking to you or if she's truly interested. That's what makes us simple (if you ask) and complicated (if you don't ask but just analyze) at the same time.

I'd never really cared/paid attention to Gem girls till recently either, I met two at university a few weeks ago and they seem like people I could hang out with for some good time, the chemistry is definitely there (not talking in romantic terms though) they have considerable water placements though (moon in Cancer and Mars in Pisces/Cancer) so that probably makes them a little more dependable than your average flighty gem lol, our conversations are strange, yet fascinating, they are more the type who will put a lot of effort into explaining things, whilst I just spend as much effort in my head trying to construct a creative/philosophic, yet concise way of saying things and they love that

Interesting, my interpretation of how to act would be to throw out the fact that I am single and tease her about ideas in a relationship. Having someone to have, hold, hug.
But I am pretty certain it won't be effective

My last boyfriend was like that and I really loved every minute of it. He was the only one who really made me think twice before flirting with someone else for the sake of. Plus, even if I knew that I was smarter than him education wise, I'd let him have the honor of being the smartest one between the two of us, lol. At first, it wounded my intellectual pride but later on... who cares, I am not that insecure when it comes to brains anyway.

We Gems just love it when men act like they are more intelligent and superior to us (it really turns us on). Sure way to know that you are getting some tonight. Next time you see that Gem tell her that its ok if she is stupid you are smart enough for both of you.

I've actually seen some of it working...
Yeah, it works! Sometimes we tend to be .... mischievous and irreverent. And it's got to be real too. I mean, it shouldn't just be an act that's put on because we can see through all that. And sometimes, out of boredom, we may oblige you and let you call the shots but the problem with that is when push comes to shove, we will summon the evil twin and you should run for cover.
The "authority" should be innate and not affected. Kind of like the way dogs can sense if the human is just fucking around and doesn't really mean the threat (so the dog doesn't follow) but when Cesar Millan (Dog Whisperer) says the same things, the dog reacts differently and becomes submissive.
It's hard to box Gems since we're air but it can be done if the authority is authentic.
That being said, I miss my Virguy. He's the only one who came really close to reigning me in. I don't think he realized that though that he had accomplished something no other had done, lol. Told you our signs could get along well... it's just that with Gems, fidelity is not that easily assumed. You'll have to trust us the same way you Virguys want to be trusted. (and, oh yes, this is a speech I gave recently, haha)

Don't try to control her, respect her, TRUST her. What Twisted mentioned: we love to be dominated in a respectful way; the authority needs to be AUTHENTIC, we will know if it is not.
DO NOT MIRROR; we will see it as fake and RUN. We want you to have your own interests, hobbies, etc. We do not interpret imitation as flattery; Air signs interpret that as suffocation. We want our compatible opposite, not our twin.
But most important thing, you have to be able to TRUST us. If you don't, we will never give you our mind, body, and soul because deep down we feel as though you don't respect us and respect for us is KEY and absolutely crucial for the freedom which we associate with love.
