Control freak

How would you logically explain that a Gemini is a control freak?
A discussion with a Gemini, about another Gemini, led to him saying that the Gemini I'm friend with (Not the friendlationship one, another one. Two friends of mine.) panics if he's not in total control of things.
Are Gems control freaks? Not Virgo control freaks, just.. if they don't know all the details of things or get caught of guard they panic freaks. Or it's their insecurities? Something else?
I'd like to understand.

It really depends on the situation... But, the end result is, no one likes to left in the dark. It's a bit rude and disrespectful... Why would you want to keep them unaware anyway? As for becoming a control-freak in the aftermath... I don't know... For me, it's more of a disappointment than trying to control what is not controllable.
