Gemini and Scorpio? I'm somewhat different?

Yes, I am aware of the things going against gem and Scorpio. I have dated a few scorpios and I couldn't stand them! This Scorpio I've been dating however seems different; with his Leo moon, Capricorn Venus, and Scorpio mars. I need to find his rising sign. I'm of course Gemini, rising Aquarius with a libra moon and both my venus and mars in Cancer. My mid heaven is Scorpio.
Now there are some things that annoy me but I go back and fourth between extreme like and annoyance. Wishy washy, do I like him or not etc...
My longest relationship was with a Leo but in the end I feel it was his Taurus moon that was downfall.
I am an intensely passionate person. I need lots of intimacy to me happy in a relationship, passion, communication. He stopped showing me those things and I grew bored. I need stimulation and engaging conversation. I'm hyper sensitive to others emotions; I'm a writer and a musician among other things. Both this Scorpio and I want to join the police force and eventually go federal, we have the same goals and we are same age. When he does something that annoys me I tell him right away and he fixes it.
It drives me crazy if it takes him awhile to get back to me, I jump to conclusions. My friends tell me I need to calm down and not be so anxious. I tend to fall fast, if I get physical I need some form of commitment. I've dated a variation of signs who have told me to slow down/not come on so strong...I can't help it though. I can be very fickle and aloof at times but when I really like someone I come on full throttle.
Sadly, one of my downfalls is I can be kind of suspicious and jealous. I have no reason for this I just do...I'm not crazy with it and I'm understanding (some space is important) but I can get "clingy" according to some people I've dated, too much so for them. Generally when I'm dating someone, 3-5x a week is good for me to see them.
I'm still going back and fourth with how I feel about this Scorp but either way I am obsessing. 2 couples that I am immensely close to are Pisces and Gemini (together 8 years and engaged) and Pisces and Aquarius (married and 11 years). Very solid. Water and air can go well. I've found that generally people with fire and air in their venus don't work for me. Remember, I am super cancer with Gemini tendencies in love and am clingy and require much affection, cuddling, attention...I'm pretty needy. I really don't fit a lot of the Gemini descriptions besides on my outward talkative/fickle

Thanks, yes this is something I have to work on. That and being so clingy and anxious/jumping to conclusions.

You know, I think you are onto something! I need 1-2 days a week apart to myself/friends, I will never neglect my friends! But I've found in the past I've drove guys away due to me jumping to conclusions and being so needy. I know he cares about me, so when he didn't respond til I was almost out of work yesterday, I was ok with it. And it felt good!
He's different than the other scorps I've dated because he's very open and not a private person. There are some things (as with me) that will take him longer to let me in but everyone is like that. I've dated scorps that feel like they are on trial with me because I ask a lot of questions (Gemini in addition to wanting to be a criminal profiler!).
But he's not secretive at all with me. He tells me what's on his mind, he's very chatty, he's not jealous at all and says it wastes time to be jealous. If he's texting, he doesn't even have an issue showing me his messages etc. he's blunt (like me), and doesn't make me wonder what he's thinking. He also doesn't poke and prod at me to figure out what I'm thinking about. I'm very direct, if I'm upset I say it immediately and move on. I don't like to dwell/hold grudges and brood and have him try to figure out what's wrong, I'll just say it!
Do those characteristics sound very Scorpio to you?
