gemini friend hard to pin down- why?

In a nutshell we're both young in our early twenties - with simply a friendship between us. We met a couple months ago and hit it off pretty well, we share the same interests etc. We agreed to hang out together and we did originally. Lately she's been really hard to talk to (takes a day or two to reply) and organise to hang out. I (pisces) am worried that this friendship will die off so soon (and I want to keep it alive because I've never met someone who I vibe so MUCH with!)

are gemini women a bit flaky?

I’m a Gemini woman myself and my best friend is a Pisces. Geminis love space.. We tend to need lots of space in any relationship or friendship and sometimes we just take time to ourselves for space and don’t warn anybody about it. When I need space from her and we have plans, I turn my do not disturb on and wait until the day of our plans to call back. Don’t fret, it’s just a Gemini thing.
