Geminis and cooking

Are Gems really into cooking, or cooking with/for other people?

When I do get to see my gem, if I happen to be hungry, he'll make food for me, or he's already made food and is very happy to offer me what he made. Whenever I thank him, he says that he has to make sure I"m taken care of or that he has to make sure I'm fed. When I mentioned that there was this new recipe I wanted to try, he told me to teach it to him, and seemed very happy when I mentioned we could work on it together.

The only Gemini chef that I know of is Jamie Oliver.

I was speaking with my gem guy fd couple of weeks ago to exchange recipes, he says he would cook to court a women but he cooks regardless of courting or not.

my two best friends are gems, one a man one a woman and they would both burn toast useless in the kitchen

lol my gem has his venus in taurus.

I find it very interesting. I like to cook because I like to experiment with food, but I also find cooking very tedious. I tend to just want my food ready and here for me to eat, so there are times when I really have to be in the right mood to just settle down and cook. But when I do, I really enjoy it.

GM, you said cooking is one of your love languages. So do gems enjoy cooking for the people they care about, or just enjoy cooking in general?

And what I'm getting here is that gems like to cook, whether they're good at it or not. hahaha.

so my gemini doesn't cook but we've been learning together, unfortunately the kitchen is so damn small i usually end up kicking him out until im done haha
but i like that he tries and doesn't leave everything for me. im also a vegetarian so im not well versed in preparing meat and chicken. i did once and from that day on he started taking over that department. i didn't think it was THAT bad but i wasnt the one eating it 😛

I love to cook for the people I care about. Which is probably why they all love my cooking and say that I should open a restaurant. It ain't happenin! But, it is one of my love lingos.

My mum loves cooking she taught me all the basics......and I developed my own love.

She worked heaps so around the age of 13 I had to cook for the 3 of us and dinner would be served around 6 when she got home

now days I cant stand to have her in the kitchen I think shes jealous because she loved food so much and im better than her now at cooking...but thats understandable.... cos she has to work and I had the extra time to try different things.

still doesnt mean she can change the temp on the oven when im not looking. Last night I made roast morroccan pumpkin soup and i caught her putting nutmeg in it a whole shit load! fuck that pisses me off shes always meddling.....I feel sorry for her when she cooks for a dinner party and what she cooks is shit and we all know and even she does.....its sooo sad 😭 all her friends are foodies and go to really nice restaraunts i can imagine what they go on about after eating her food. I hate them

I like to cook and like someone else posted above, I love to cook for those I really love and care about. Its how I "show" that I care about them.

Im not the best cook but some of the things i cook are DELICIOUS and people ask for seconds!! Although im pretty messy in the kitchen. I refuse to use the same utensil more than once so after a cooking session theres a million things to be washed.

I hate thinking of what to cook but once im in the kitchen and i've started, nothing can stop me!! lol

I forgot to add, i also like it when everyone sits at the table together at the same time to eat. When i cook I always do everything myself and set the table myself and make sure there is cutlery and cups & napkins & sauces etc. I love to "accomodate" those i care and love and make sure they dont need anything.

Maybe its my cancer venus? 🙂

I can believe that. Cancers love the home and settling in, so besides just cooking for the people you love, you want to have them sit down and enjoy what you just made in a cozy, comfortable environment.

Like I said before, my gem has his venus in taurus, so I'm not sure what that equals, lol.

I don't like to cook. I like to be cooked for and I LOVE food. I dated a Sag guy who loved to cook and I was in heaven. I'm just not into it.

my gem husband is a great cook...especially on the grill..yummy🙂

Hey nat does your Venus in Cancer mess with your mind sometimes? I have noticed that I will get all emotional and then the Gemini will kick in and be very annoyed with all that emotional crap. I just wanna smack myself sometimes. I actually will send myself to my room when this starts and just stay there til it is over or purposely disguise the emotions it brings out of me. Does this happen to you?


Ccdarling yes!! I can relate to that 150% . Its very annoying but at the same time im glad the gemini kicks in and I can supress the emotions. The venus in cancer makes me VERY sensitive but im very good at hiding it unless it has really hurt me although I wont burst into tears or whinge, i'll just make a hurtful comment back and then i'll be very cold towards the person.

Yes like you when I get emotional I DETEST it and I quickly try and go find a place when I can be in private and I tell myself COME ON!! WATS WRONG WITH YOU!! SUCK IT UP!!! and yes I will not come out until I can hide my emotions again and act like im fine and dandy.

Also I rarely cry but when I do i'll cry for a bit and then I will feel really stupid for crying and I'll make myself stop and then put on my happy face (i will NEVER let anyone know how I REALLY feel its just so hard for me to open up like that I feel too vulnerable) and its a bad thing because I supress my emotions A LOT.
