Gemini's guys and love

Ok. Do Gemini guys say I love you easily.

My friend's Gem wrote on her Facebook page " I was thinking of you and wish I could be with you. love ya". She wrote : " baby, you say the nicest things. I love you too".

He has been ignoring her since.This was 2 weeks ago.What advice do I give her?

When I was younger, I used to say it without really meaning it -- kind of like "I love ice cream." I meant it but only at that level. Until I realized that the other person actually took it to heart and it would make matters worse when I couldn't deal with that and did a disappearing act. That's when the stalker in them comes out, LOL.

But now that I've matured more, you will have to pry that from my lips. I will not say that unless I really mean it and am willing to back it up with action. So I guess he is also freaking out as well right now -- regardless of his level of maturity because by default we don't say that unless it's true.

They seem to really be into each other. And they are both on the same page about getting married and wanting kids.And they really seem to want to do these things with each other.

And she thinks that her saying it back to him that she pushed the boundaries. He has not been responding to her messages(the stalking phase).

Told her to call me or someone else when she feels like haressing him. And just let him be for a while.

PS. They dated in college.But they always stayed in contact even when they both were engaged to other people.Those relationships ended badly. And they just somehow founded each other.

OH, I saw on his FB wall a message that he was with someone this weekend. The messages was on for 2 minutes and then it was gone. I didn't tell my friend about it.

I know it makes me a bad friend , but I asked her if she is sure that he is the man for her.He has always been a flirt and is she sure that she can be with someone that she always feels insecure about. Yip, he is hot.

You definitely gave her good advice (to call you when she felt like harassing him) and I hope she takes it!

You know what? I'm not quite sure how mature that Gem guy is. Gems really take a while to mature so it's not a pat-down formula. What I do sense is hesitation on his part. Maybe a realization that hey, this is serious stuff I'm getting into -- hence, the freak out. And sometimes -- not all the time, okay? -- when that happens they seek out the company of "safe" people. They could be enjoying themselves but no guarantee that they're heart will be in it. So I wouldn't read too much into the FB status message. It could just be a press release for all we know.

Let the guy sort things out for himself and if he's sure about her, he'll come around.

Oh, btw, is this the first time they've exchanged I love yous? On FB? In a message or on their wall?

The advise is just something I learned from past expirience. It is not always easy keeping your cool. When the guy you love does a dissapearing act on you.

my gemini took 1 or 2 months to say the L word. He also said I am the one after 2 months. I am still with him. So maybe they do say it pretty quickly, but my gem who is a yr younger than me seems to be more mature than me. lol

gem guys are a handful....please know what you are getting yourself into.

Okay, I wouldn't put too much faith in a first time declaration on an FB wall. He might have realized in retrospect what he had just gotten himself into by such a public declaration and -- well, freaked out.

Oh, you might misunderstand the "safe" people comment I made. I didn't mean your friend was the "safe" person. If she's the source of the freak out, then the Gem will gravitate and seek the company of "safe" people while sorting out the gamut of feelings running through their head (yeah, I know -- feelings? head? seems like the wrong place but Gems are thinkers. We often think our way to feeling.) So the time he spends with other people while sorting this out or calming his freaked out nerves will most likely be platonic people who will not further threaten or confuse their emotions. IOW, not really considered competition for your friend.

Yeah, I hate the disappearing act too. I can't complain too much though because I am guilty of it myself, LOL. So I can't cast the first stone on that. I'm now with a guy who has Virgo sun/Capricorn moon -- both signs notorious for their disappearing acts/withdrawal modes -- and i'm just glad that I am Gem and largely self-entertaining and independent. I can manage it better without taking his periodic absences personally.

I'd take this statement with a grain of salt. I mean, it depends on the placements of your friend and the Gem guy taken together too. For some girls, a Gem guy could actually balance them out.

I'm very serious and find my way of love very formal. Hold the door open, Give complements, ect. I give my everything in a relationship and don't give up easily at all. I fight till the bitter end. I hold on to people for a long time before moving on although I have a mutable sign. Maybe he's second guessing himself. Can you tell if he's really serious about her? and maybe they communicate different ways of the internet. Probably most Geminis aren't like me. I have Cancer in Venus also and so does my Gem son. Trust me the reason you are the way you are is because of your Cancer in Venus. Also Gems with Venus in Taurus will hold on to relationships more. I knew a Gem with Gem in Venus and they were not into holding onto relationships or people at all, neither are Geminis with Venus in Aries. Although I would like to here from anyone that has Gemini or Aries in Venus about how they view relationships. I think we can also have Venus in Leo, but those are the only placements for a Gemini that are possible.

I have a Venus in Leo and I do have a tendency to hold on to relationships (the ones that I choose to get seriously involved in even if it's on my end only, LOL) for a looooong time. Takes me forever to mend a broken heart but after reading up on the moons, I'm attributing this to my moon in Taurus -- the tenacity in emotions and the dogged persistence to see a relationship through. It kind of made sense to me.

They are still not talking. He seems to want to make things work with her. But he is a flirt. And I think that he is keeping his options open.

He never said I love you to her when they were dating before. It is the 1st time that he said it on facebook on the wall. And he said it to her again, twice in 2 weeks !!! So, maybe he means it.

Yeah, maybe guys just hate loosing control over the situation. Like when their feelings for you gets the better of them.

I remeber that I ran a mile when this guy was into me and I wasn't into him. He was a decent guy , but I didn't want to allow myself to feel anything for anyone in the time in my life.I had just gone through " very hurtful" breakup with a libra. I was just scared to get close to someone again. And in a way I think that I still am.
We never know why some people do the things that they do.

I really don't know why we leo girls are so emotionally needy sometimes ... OK ,most of the time. Sometimes, we just can't let things be.

Really hate saying it, but I don't think these guys are worth the effort. Do they want honesty or someone who b/s's them? Oh, but don't bother asking them because you won't get an honest answer.

I think relationships are though enough. People should be themselves. I think why I loved my ex- libra was that he loved me for me and our relationship was easy.We didn't need to pretend to be other people. Yeah, it ended badly but that is life.

I really think that people need to be on the same page about what they want and be honest with eachother and commited to that. I think we want a perfect person... and there is no such thing. We are human and we make mistakes.

Ok, I think this Gemini is drunk dailing and texting. He called on friday night told her he loves her and that she is his world. Then she doesn't hear anything from him again.

Of course she is in a head spin. Because he didn't ask her to get back together .... People should really think what they are doing to the other person before doing things like that... his reminds me about my ex- libra and pisses me off.
