Forget about outsmarting them. The best result you can hope for is you believe you have outsmarted them, when in truth they still played you like a fiddle. Just ignore the truth

You need to set boundaries and stick to it.. Make your "yes" mean YES and your "no" mean NO. I had a Gemini ex of many moons... He thought he was smarter than me (poor sod). He got "blindsided"... Mess with a bull and you get the horns...
Sags are too bze being "people pleasers"... They do tonnes of stuff and then moan about it after instead of putting their foot down and standing their ground... Door mats.....

For years, I let my ex think I was dumber than what I was. When we divorced, he sat there arrogant as can be thinking he knew all of the divorce laws, and liked to talk down to me. When I finally showed my hand and showed I wasn't as dumb as he thought, he started treating me a whole lot better.
He actually said "Damn I didn't think you had it in you."

Did he ask you to do "small things" here and there before you got into a relationship?
There's this thing in psychology where you
ask people to do small favors for you and they end up
confused into feeling---> "I just did something for this person. That means I care for them."
He may or may not be doing that on purpose but
I was curious if he did that before you two got 'together'.

OP. As a Sag in my opinion one of the best qualities you have going for you is your honesty. Speak to your Gemini and let him know how you are feeling. No one wants to feel like a slave in a relationship and if there is some resentment now.. it's best to get rid of it asap. That shit festers and before you know it, you are arguing over silly small things which turn into daily spats.

But there are other signs who can beat us in various ways. A Virgo can go straight for the jugular, verbally, and knock a Gemini on her ass. A Pisces can look you right in the eye and lie, if so inclined. It would be so much better to just not try to beat one another.click to expand
