If you could change anything about yourself....

what would it be?

and why?

TBH, i sat here for a lil bit and thought about saying something like my sun sign or the fact that i have a lot of silly fears... but, really i wouldn't want to change a thing. i am who i am. i know i'm not a bad person and i've come a long way in my life lessons to be able to see a bigger picture. i'm not perfect, but i don't make excuses for my flaws. i am fully aware of them and with awareness comes learning and change.

Firstly I have low testosterone and erectile dysfunction, its become such a problem I'm surprised that my head hasn't exploded so yeah fix this problem I wish tioi not to have this issue and then I'll be happy as a ...whatever, I'll be thrilled...put it that way. And then now I dont have money in my account, not as much as i need and so a nice bank account..that will be good but its not a personality trait so I dont know what else to say as I'm a good looking guy, smart and stuff but I have my deficiences. At least i'm getting doctor help for the erectile so yeh wish I was a rich son of a gun.

So there is ABSOLUTELY nothing you would want to change about yourself?

Maybe even improve?

I find that so hard to believe. I'm also a good-looking gal myself; but physical attributes aside, there are definitely personal traits I would love to improve and change about myself.

1. Competitiveness. I am WAY too competitive in every aspect of the word. I'm never upset at other people and feel genuinely happy for whomever won, but I beat myself up for losing. I would lose sleep, stress out and over-analyze about the loss and how I could've done better. I've been working on this for the past year or so and have such a hard time overcoming it... If any of you have had this issue, I don't mind some tips or advice at all! But, seeing that you are all perfect, I might be asking the wrong people. 😉 Kidding!

2. Social grace. I sometimes envy those who can engage in chatter and gossip because that's what connects us females. Truth is, I don't have many female friends because I don't know how to maintain my interest in little talks! Sometimes, maybe a lot of times, I come off as standoffish or snobbish because I seem disinterested. But when I do speak up about something or about a matter, that is viewed as being "bitchy." This is a constant battle and I'm always losing. I've been reading up on studies about women's assertiveness, how it's perceived and viewed, how it affects me in my workplace and in my life... I'm learning a lot and getting a better idea on how to approach this.


I love myself and I think I am a great person. But, I think and feel I could be better. So why not?

i guess i would want to change my silly fears.... i do envy ppl who can just go and do whatever without a care, without the feeling of being out of place, or like they don't belong... it makes it hard to even go to a store... or even to post here sometimes! altho, i have been working on this and i have never "lived" so much in my entire life, than i have in the last year!

Oh okay. Since you put it that way yeah i would change my CHART unfortunately. I need fire power to boost my social graces and to get out and explore more often without feeling insecure. That's about it really. There's nothin much about me to change TBH.

why do you feel insecure?

My relationship blue print, I`m too tolerant, but mid changing my attitude, Im working on it 🙂

I'd change the way I feel about people--I don't like them much sometimes. I like to be alone quite a bit which for a Gem is unusual.

And since we are at it, being immortal would be quite ok too.

Why do you want to be immortal?

I see no allure in living forever. However, I do sometime wish that we age slower so we can have more time to accomplish everything and more.

^^^^YES. I NEED to have my alone time, which seems like most of the time 🙂

Also, I use to think it was strange that other than close friends (okay, who am I kidding, gems don't have friends, we have aquaintences, they just think that were are friends), other than family and special romantic interests, I really don't like people. The funny thing is, my effervescent personality makes it so no one else can really discern this about me...most people if asked to describe me, would say I am people person and an extrovert.

I use to think to my self, it would be cool to be immortal...but hell, the way this crazy ass world and everyone in it looks today, I'm questioning if another ten years is too long already. 🙂J/K maybe?

Well...... maybe not insecurity. scratch that. but agoraphobia and be strong with a little more confidence.

i'm a recover-er... i'm not going to lie... it was hard at first. even now it still is sometimes, but i am starting to live, REALLY live, for the first time in my life!! i think it will definitely be worth it in the end. 🙂

Well, I do enjoy my time alone very much. I've become quite antisocial in recent years due to anxiety issues unfortunately. That's that Gemini nervous energy for you..
There's one thing I'd like to change about myself. As well as being indecisive, impulsive, easily bored, and the list goes on. But then I'd probably be normal. Meh, who wants to be normal :p

SoooGem we must be twins because most think I'm an extrovert as well. When those close to me find out I don't like people much they look at me as if I'm weird. I can be the life of the party when I choose to be. But most times I'm very content with my own company or just being around family. And you are totally correct when you say peeps "think" they are friends. I call very few people "friend" while others say they have many friends. Alot of people like me but then there are others who don't like me because they aren't in my circle and don't have the pleasure of knowing me. Almost EVERYONE I "choose" to get to know me say that I seem standoffish at first but once they get to know me think I'm the best. I don't have much patience for most with the exception of the elderly and young children. I am wise enough to listen to the elderly. I have patience for young children because they know no better and they are very honest. Now anyone in between...well, you get the picture!
