My Gemini-ness is KILLING ME!

I have like LOVE ADD.
I don't know how to stick with anyone, My longest relationship was maybe a few months LOL
the grass always seems greener on the other side, If I don't feel even a bit excited anymore then I've already moved on.. It gets so annoying UGH!
I want to 'settle' a bit (not like marriage & stuff) but in a relationship maybe, but yeah.. it never works.
lol it's like I expect them to keep up with me and make me have 'butterflies' at all times and if they can't then it's "bye bye but thanks for playing! "
LOL anyways... is this normal for a Gemini? do you guys ever feel this way? how can I get it to lessen?

I don't know how old you are, but when I was young I had the same problem. It was more because I was bored or there were too many other people waiting in line, so why be bogged down with someone who can't keep up when there are other options. I think stability with Geminis in the romance department comes with maturity. However you are a first decan Gem and I am a third. I have found that you first decans have a much harder time with this, then the other two Gemini decans. I think it is because of all that Mercury. I am sort of surprised that you have this problem since you have a Cancer moon and your Venus is in Taurus. That should eventually help you. Perhaps you have not met the right one yet.
You can only be who you are and if people accept it then great. If they don't well it is probably for the best. After all do you really want someone if they can't see the bigger picture or if they don't understand who you are? Which is hard for Geminis because most people don't get us at all. Just don't change in order to keep or attract someone it is just not worth it. Be yourself and when the right person comes then you will know it and they will like you the way you are. Besides you will probably have to date a lot of guys before you find the one that you connect with. The dating pool of men is just not that hot to be completely honest. Especially for Geminis, people who are attracted to the mind foremost. I think we have become a society that accepts and promotes ignorance. Which is sad to say the least.

I'm also surprised too with my Cancer moon and Taurus Venus cause I often feel like I have a Gemini venus and I'm so attracted to Aquarius moons.
Lol I feel like I connect with my progressed chart more than my natal chart because in my progressed chart I have an Aquarius moon and Gemini as my Venus sign.

I got sidetracked with that progressed chart thingy, LOL. Went to astro.com to see what mine would turn up with and all the drop down menus confused me. There's a date there -- should I pick the date today or my birthday? Anyway, I just woke up and my brain refuses to process anything complicated just yet... so I shall come back to it later.
GlamGemini - I'm with you on the relationship ADD. I have it too all for the reasons CCDarling mentioned. It sucks because I would also like to level up just like you and actually settle down but whenever someone actually wants to become more serious with me, the prospect of a predictable life and more of the same ol, same ol from here on out, the lack of freedom and being answerable and accountable to someone else -- it makes me PANIC. I feel trapped. I can't breathe. I run. There's always at least one broken heart in that scenario there.
There's a lot of good advice CC gave -- be yourself until you find someone you connect with. And I don't know if this will make sense to you (probably yes, bec you're a GEM) but I need someone who can connect with "all of my selves" to be able to get my defenses down. That takes time and by the time he gets through all of them, if I give him the opportunity, I'm usually bored.
So I dunno. I haven't given up but it sure would be nice to be my selves with someone who can keep up with it and still be around. I wish this maturing process (romantically) could be hurried up though. I'm running out of time haha.

Hahaha... I didn't know that about the Millionaire Matchmaker! At 52, huh? Hmmm.... that seems a lifetime away, haha. I have heard so many stories of don't give up. It'll come when you least expect it. This or that girl still found somebody in her 40s, 50s... well, haven't heard of 60s yet... but I don't know anymore!
I do feel that I've somehow matured somewhat (I sound so tentative... lol) in the romance department but not after a harrowing, anguish filled break-up with a guy who totally broke my heart to pieces at a time when I felt ready to level up. (Are you getting how traumatic this was for me considering it takes me a lot to get there?)
After him, I'm not as cavalier in playing all the "cruel intentions-art-of-seduction" head games anymore. It used to come so naturally to me because it was mainly fun but since I realized that I was also gambling with a most precious commodity and resource (a.k.a. my fragile heart), I'm more careful now. I'm with a Virguy now and they're supposedly reliable and stable but I think that's going to end soon because I need someone who doesn't do the push-pull, suffer my moods, this is the way I see the world and nothing's going to change it thing.
Dang. 52, huh? What am I going to do in the meantime? LOL

But I think ( correct me if I'm wrong of course ) Aquarius moons are more quicker to move on as they eventually sense 'bull' from people more easier and they move on without making too much fuss, they seem distant and cold and yeah I notice most of them are in their own world but that's what makes me even more fascinated by them aha

I can remember the first time I got jealous of someone I dumped him. I can remember feeling jealous and being like nope ain't doing it later. I really liked him but figured if this was how it was going to be then I would just save us both time, plus if I was feeling that way "why?". Something just was not right. The initial feelings of jealousy made me mad at myself for even feeling them. Weird I know but that was how it was.


CC -- First off, sorry to hear about your soon to be ex. I know you'll make it through the tough transition time so hang in there!
Re: Jealousy -- same here, I have dumped guys who have tried to make me feel jealous especially when my feelings for him haven't matured yet. For me, at that point, that's all drama crap. I don't need it. If you want to be with someone else, go ahead and be with her. If you want to be with me, then throw all the jealousy crap out the window. I like to feel emotionally secure with someone, not forever wondering if he wants to really be with me.
OTOH, if I really want to be childish and immature, I could also go the "do you really want to play that game?" tactic. Because if he wants that jealousy thrown back and forth, I could really give him a run for his money. I have guy best friends, flirt friends, lovers, a very colorful past -- but when I'm in a relationship with someone, I don't bring all that up because it just gets complicated so sometimes I catch myself and just walk away, other times when I'm in a I don't really fucking care anymore mood, I dish out the ammo. Depends I guess on how much he tries to hurt me without provocation on my part.

I just like every other person do get emotional and deep but my Gemini-ness outbeats me.. I stop and say "no need to get caught up"

I believe we all CHOOSE how to react to things, Geminis simply think and act with their head & not their hearts.

Oh, trust me there is emotion, depth and passion but we're very particular of people who get to see that. It's like the transmission gear in a car. You can't exactly dish it out and be witty and engage in verbal banter if you let your Achilles' Heel be known to everyone or you'll just be a target. The same thing can be said with the almost Machiavellian efficiency we have in getting things done. We often have different projects on our plate and to get things done properly, sometimes sentimentality has to take a back seat.
If you want to see that softer, gentler side, we have to be really sure that you won't pierce us when our armor is down.
