Oh, Wise Ones....

I just want to say.... MOON SIGNS are awesome!!!!
I thought at first that I needed the time of birth to get the moon sign of a person but CCDarling told me in another thread that it wasn't really needed. So.... I went and got everyone's moon sign in my family and hahaha... ON THE DOT.
It was like a lightbulb went off in my head and I kept going... no wonder!
I found out the my mom's moon is in Gemini (which is why I'm the closest one to her) and my sister's moon is Capricorn which is my dad's sun sign -- which is why she's the only one that can really talk to him.
My dad's moon is Cancer which is why he is in emote mode all the time. And my other sister is moon in Scorpio which is why she feels things so intensely. I didn't understand that before because she was Leo sun.
I guess the only off thing is my second sister who has Sun/Moon in Aries. Doesn't describe her at all because she is mostly in her own world, lol. So maybe the rest of her planets are in Pisces, lol.
Anywho, I just think that knowing someone's moon sign is an invaluable weapon in a Gem's arsenal when wanting to get on someone's good side... or just plotting to take over the world in general. Bwahahaha.
i'm a cancer moon which makes me incredibly emotional/nurturing for a gem.
lol! yea, i think it's good to know, too. that way, i know how to avoid a conflict or how to not hurt them in any way.
i had a better reason, but i can't seem to get it out of my head and type it... something about understanding how they feel.

Cancer moon and Gem sun. Wow, that would make you highly empathic. Gems are very intuitive and can sense other feelings of people already but since you kind of doubly feel stuff, that must be really tiring sometimes.

and I'm usually very attracted to Aries and Leo women as they're very easy. j/k
LOL ^^
let some of those women listen to what you're saying... and Get Scratched by the Cats!! haha.. Winking

To the OP:
I'm a Lib moon, and I totally blame my indecisiveness to it!! and just because of it, I'm always always always conflicted.. i cant even make up my mind or draw perfect demarcation lines when it comes to defining something. Sad.. hatee hate my sun-moon-merc combo SadSad (*sticks tongue out at leeeebras* Tongue)

I have an Aries sister and a Leo sister ... so to TV... WHAPAAACKKKK!!!!! (takes note to invade TV's territory first)
Yeah, I have a Libra BFF (now soon to be ex-BFF) who is the flakiest person in the whole wide world. I've had it with her so bye bye. OTOH, my two other BFFs are Libras and they're great. I don't have anything in Libra (I think) but it takes ages to make up my mind. Grocery shopping tires me out because I have to look at ALL the options and even read the labels. Yeesh. Even shopping in general, I have to comb through the whole store just so that I don't miss anything. So I really don't take anyone shopping with me or they'll just get exasperated with me. Heck, I get exasperated with me. I'm like, "Make up your mind, woman!!!"

RE: GROCERY SHOPPING
Someone once told me that if I wanted to hook up with single guys at the grocery store, I should go there at around 5 to 6pm and check out the guys with baskets (not carts) since they're only shopping for themselves. I'm like, what??? But since it was something I've never tried... okay, I gave it a go. Dang. It was weird. It just seems so awkward to pretend to grocery shop PLUS all the choices in the aisles distracted me. Eventually, someone was aisle-stalking me but I'm like -- Bugger off, I'm busy reading labels! LOL.
RE: OPINIONS
I'm the same way too. My Virgo BFF always always always has to ask my opinion when shopping for something. Like she wouldn't be able to purchase anything until the rest of the world gave their approval on it. This irks me to no end. I don't know why she can't make up her own mind or why others' opinion will matter anyway. My take on fashion choices is that if you can carry it, why not? And I guess, I'm kind of selfish when it comes to that. I mean, it's taken ages for me to decipher what I like, what I prefer, why I prefer it and she wants the shortcut and just wants the answer key. Ummm... no, thank you. So I generally just give her motherhood statements -- e.g. this would look good for this and that occasion.
My preferences are my own for a reason and only after deliberate and conscious thought and yes, a lot of mistakes along the way (yeah, we Gems learn by experience) so when it comes to things that are a vehicle of self-expression -- clothes, furnishings, etc -- I tend to get possessive with my opinions. I mean, I don't want to just give it away if all they'll do is clone me. Because they wouldn't be expressing themselves but me. Does this seem weird or what?
@CC, even bottled water is tainted with contaminants and is not considered any healthier than tap water!!! Bottled Water Quality Investigation: 10 Major Brands, 38 Pollutants
But, if you do buy bottled water, you should get purified water so that it has at least been treated. Here is an article on disclosure of source and treatment processes of some major brands: EWG's Bottled Water Scorecard Summary

LMAO!!
Hmmm, I printed of a list (about 40 pages) of different brands of bottled water after a huge story came out about our aquifer being polluted and fraught with contaminants (so, keep in mind, aquifer's are not necessarily a good source for bottled water either) and My Virgo and I reviewed it to determine which bottled water has the fewest contaminants, but I can't find it.
@CC: ok, finally found the link Summary" data-url="http://www.nrdc.org/water/drinking/bw/appa.asp'>Summary" target="_blank">http://www.nrdc.org/water/drinking/bw/appa.asp'>Summary of Bottled Water Contaminants Found.
Deer Park looks like a good choice...
^^mind you, anyone interested, despite its apparent inclusiveness, it does NOT contain ALL brands and their sources.
Well, thanks for the clarification, ladies.
I got my mom sufficiently interested in this so being the efficient Virgo and all, LOL, she came up with a birth matrix for everyone in the family -- including time and date of baptism, confirmation and everyone's godparents during those two occasions. Ha ha.
But the moon sign without TOB is helpful especially if you're just trying to get to know a person and you're not yet close. I mean, it borders on the creepy if someone you hardly know asks you your time of birth, ya know? But since moon signs are a particularly helpful tool when it comes to navigating within relationships, getting it without the time of birth is kind of like the GPS saying that you're 500 ft away to your destination -- at least, you're getting warm and know you're near target.
Of course, one should always aim for precision. =P I'm still waiting for the TOB of my virgo/cappy. I need to know what his other placements are. So far, knowing he has a Cappie moon has staved off a major row with him. I just remembered everything I "researched" about Cappy moons and saw things from his perspective -- that he didn't want to be rejected -- so I eased up and became gentler towards him. I told my Mars in Aries to stay in the corner and keep still and quiet at the risk of further punishment, hahah.
So this moon thing is working.. so far...

The rest of the chart should also be that same. Only the moon would have a small statistical chance of been wrong. Plus as I have already stated you cannot get the rising without the time, it changes too often during the day, about every couple hours I think. However the rest of their chart can be figured out without time.

Whoaaaaa... really?? CC, I need a link, please!!!!
Okay ... no need for the link, thanks. I found out and it's interesting...
We both have Venus in Leo. My Mars is in Aries and his is in Scorpio. I am trying to google my way into checking out compatibility under those planets (with little success, haha) so if anyone knows anything about this... please clue me in.
