Retrograde Moods.

I live a short distance out of town, up a back road which follows a river into the mountains. People come up here to get away. There's always a bit of traffic going by, be it folks out for a Sunday drive or kids going up to do skids at night. It's a really nice river with native bush and birdlife, swimming holes in the summer.
In mercury retrograde though it's always quiet out. Less people come up here, sometimes none. You know how in spooky story's people talk about it being too quiet, it's almost that quiet. Even if there are people around the mood is just laid back. In town in the evenings the mood is laid back, people aren't out and about. When there are people out and about it's still got a special feeling. It's made even better right now because the leaves are falling.

i think ghosting is so cowardly and it’s not an option for me. behaving like an asshole in order to push someone away is also not an option for me.
so, with that out of the way,
have you ever successfully faded out without having to ghost someone?
